What months are the HARDEST for you to EARN on Mylot?

seems like some months are just harder than others even if you are on the same amount as always (which i cant claim that recently but in the past i have noticed it)
i have been here about a year now and although the last couple of months my activity hasnt been great at all i have noticed that some months its like pulling teeth to get ANY amount earned when other months you feel like your earning when you arent even trying.
i would say that august was a bad month for me last year. i think that was around the time of the olympics and it seemed the whole place was dead! jan and sept both were hard to earn too..
are there some months or seasons on here that you feel its harder to earn on? if you have been here for a few years is it the same every year or always changing?

I would say that I don't really notice but on months that I don't log into mylot, sometimes my earnings do soar because of older discussions. And that's cool. But the best part is knowing that even on slow months here, there are friends whom would ask where I am and all that and that is the most touching part of all.
If there are no awesome discussions, I don't tend to answer. I am rather selective in the discussions that I choose or if there are some awesome ones, I tend to miss them out because my inbox will be full of notifications. I hope friends don't mind this so much because I will try my best to answer most of them, if not all.

Hi friend,
For me december seems to be hardest month because we get lot of holidays and also lot of work to do as it is the year ending and the next comes my exam times.These time i can't dedicate my self in mylot site.Beside these,i would spend myself with mylot site.

yeah the holidays tend to make things crazy.. i couldnt imagine throwing exams in the same time frame too!

Well, if I could stay focused more, I would probably be reaching payout in here each month. But lately my time is not so active so I am struggling. It has taken me 2 months this last time, and maybe soon I can get it back to just one month as well. It is still a GREAT place to be.

yeah recently its just been bad for me too.. seems like a lot of people are going through stuff right now.. bad time of year for personal lives i guess

for me its always been the summer time since I spend so much time outside rather than in the house on the computer etc..Mind you since I started bbsitting every week day I'm not in here nearly as much as I'd like to be which sucks in a way.

Every month always seems like a hard month for, but then again, I've only been here for what? Two months? Maybe it will get better for me during the summer! I surer hope so! But I could talk about the hardest weeks on here at myLot.. The hardest were probably 2-3 weeks of last month for me. Whenever I posted something, no one would barely give an answer. But I knew it was because mostly everyone was doing the tasks.

yeah the tasks thing didnt help anyone post wise!! make sure you post your dicussions in interests that are popular.. i mean i havent gone and looked at where you did them but when i started out i didnt realize that some of the interests i posted under had maybe 5 people signed up for it and ALL of them inactive! or i would not do keywords on my discussions which helps as far as people that do searches etc..

well i think that school months are the hardest months for me to earn here in myLot. obviously because my time on the computer will be cut in half because of school. but i'll still try to participate as much as i can during those school months. i hope to earn more money and happy mylotting!

yeah i couldnt imagine having school or a job and trying to mylot.. im a housewife so unless i have chores or other plans i "should" have enough time to earn lol

I have never thought of it that way to be honest with you. I have always tried my hardest. I guess I will have to check my earnings and see which months i fall short and see.

sometimes that doesnt really help though because you may make the same on several months but one month make it in half the time and the other month be praying the last hours that you make it (which is pretty much how this month will be)

I haven't heard of anything like this and never ever thought about this as well. But one thing is for sure, payments are not same every time. I have noticed sometimes I get paid @ 2-2.5 cents per discussion while other times, I have to be contented with just about a cent per discussion.
The thing is, earning mechanism and payment criteria is still a mystery here. Only God or the mylot moderators know how we are paid

Dear friend,
I hope it depends on the other things I am involved in or I have to be in. Being in mylot for me depends upon the times I get in each month. This time or being in mylot varies in every month. Hence for me a particular month is has not been hardest to be in my lot. It is lack of time for me and engagment in other part of my jobs or other issues makes me awaya.

i think its both with me.. obviously if i am not on i can only blame myself but i have had a few months where i worked my butt off and barely make my usual if not falling short

I haven't note about that. Yes, some month are hard for me too... Mostly my discuss has never view by other for many time, and sometimes it makes me don't want to post any more discussion... But only this week, seem to be up ( a little up )
however, where I work... some month are slow and some month are busy... it is really depend on how people feel.
I guess, it might be the same thing here.

I love observations!~ I wouldn't really know how it is like the whole year through as I've only been here for slightly over a year but all I know is that when I'm busy with my work, my activity here will be less. Or when I'm out of town as I hardly have any internet connection!~
And yes, sometimes it's just so easy like riding on waves but sometimes it's just like so draggy just to log in here!~1 person likes this

When I have a lot going on off-line, it is hartd for me to earn anything on-line. This month has been extremely busy for me. I have had a lot going on with not only family, but also with extra household things to get done, including working in the yard. I think that this has been the most difficult month for me since I really started applying myself on-line.

this month has been really hard for me but i think its because i havent been on.. so i dont know how much is my fault and how much is just it being slow... im figuring its just my fault though lol

I'm just joining mylot for about week. I think it's still hard to get some money from mylot. After a week joining I have collecting $0,49. But in here I can improve my English..
In here, I also find another way to earn money online. I've been searching some data entry work. With help from other member I finally found what I'm looking for. Now, I'm trying to earn more money.
I hope in next months I can get more money from mylot. But in mylot it's not all about money.

usually i dont have a hard time getting to pay out but i know some months it seems way easier to go beyond payout amount and some not.. the key is to constantly post.. i havent been online much (which is why this month has been bad) but i used to make sure i post 3-5 discussions a day and i always made payout that way.. sadly i got out of the habit and it shows in my earnings

My time on myLot depends on my offline work. If I have a lot of that then I am here less but so far this year there has been a balance. Last year October was bad on the Lot because I had an offline 'upset' to deal with and I did not feel like being here at all. In the two years I have been here no one month is a particularly hard month as it all depends on what's going on offline.

I agree...it seems some months you can post alot or be around alot and see very little for earnings and then other months you are barely around and you earn just as much if not more.
I find during the summer time i'm just not around as much so i cant really say if the summer months are really hard to earn.

when there are tasks available, then its a good month!..lol
I think the summer here will be harder as I will be spending more time outdoors and not so much on the computer. The weather is just starting to get nice here. Maybe at first the black flies will chase me back indoors and onto the computer

On an old account that I had with mylot, I had found that december was my quietest month because of being so busy leading up to christmas. I didn't earn as much that month.
