Today my grandsons was inducted into the National Honor Society. I had the privilege of attending the ceremony. My grand boys are twin's and they are in the 7th grade. This is a Junior High School event. 7th and 8th graders.
My discussion is about the young ladies in this event. Some of those 7th and 8th grade teenage girls that was also inducted into the National Honor Society was wearing 3 inch high heel schools, and when I say wearing the were stepping like professionals models.
I can not and have not ever been able to wear heels that high.
What about you can you walk like a model in 3 inch heels?

i don't really like to wear a high heel shoes as it makes my feet very tired and sore... i wear it in some occasions though just to make me look taller and a bit more beautiful... :-) but i prefer to wear casual shoes as it is more comfortable and i can run everywhere to do my tasks faster... take care and have a nice day...

Hi Chevee,
I can never hig heels though I would have like to but I live in my flats and trainers, I have got 3 inch high heel shoes that I have never worn as its so painful to walk with. I don't know how those young girls do it but if they look elegant with it, good for them. Hugs.

No I can't walk period in 3 inch heels!
But I will fore warn you if you think that's something wait until you see the Grand March for their prom. I just went to my youngest son's Saturday night and I was amazed at the dresses and heels these young ladies were wearing. They were beautiful but I'm telling you some of those dresses looked like wedding gowns to me! LOL
It doesn't take long for them to prove your age to you! LOL
Congrats on the twins being inducted!

It's all about the runway for these younsters; they all want to be Tyra Banks! LOL
I, on the other hand, came from a time long ago where two inch heels were socially acceptable. I can wear them higher ones but prefer to be only an inch or so above ground. Walking like a model is not anything I ever learned to do but I could switch with the best of them (still can, lol).

Hey chevee! I have not ever worn 3 inch heel in my entire
life! That is going to come back and haunt them in about
thirty years from now! They are going to be so sorry! I only
wore maybe 2 inch heels and I am so paying for it now! How
do they walk in 3 inch heels! They are just too high to
walk naturally and they are so dangerous! These kids are really
risking serious injury and they have no idea! I wish someone
would tell them, not that they would listen!

Chevee-
That's a funny story! I've not worn stillettos in a long time! I'm not sure I could walk in them today, I've had a serious back injury from a car accident, that I think they would put too much pressure on it. I do wear block heels from time to time, but they not very high, about 1/2 inch at most. I'm not sure at the Junior high level I'd allow my daughters to wear such heels. They just aren't condusive to proper posture in the first place, but they are also not appropriate for young ladies, in my humble opinion, under the age of 18. Maybe I'm just old fashioned lol.

I could when I was younger and did not mind the pain, but my knees would not permit it now. I am sure they were lovely.
