Has anyone watched Jim Carrey's new movie Yes, Man? I am watching it again it is absolutely hilarious! It's funny because i watched it the first time about 3 weeks ago and it completely changed my entire outlook on life. for those of you who have seen it you know what Jim carrey's character is like. He is boring, always putting off his friends, screening phonecalls, and pretty bored with his life. Watching it I realised i was alot like his character. As the movie progressed, he ends up going to a presentation and gets convinced to start saying yes to everything he is asked. I realised that I have to start doing more things when I am invited out so I started going out when asked, doing things I've wanted to do, and generaally enjoying life. I would never go back to where I was. Have any of you ever gotten a deep meaning out of a movie that has changed you for the better?

That movie is absolutely hilarious! We watched it twice in one night, then the kids ands I watched it again the next day. You are right, it does make you think a bit more about life. I will admit that since I watched it, I think I have tried to get out a little more too. I don't necessarily go out with friends, but I have accepted more phone calls, and talked to more people.I know that I am a lot like the character Jim Carey plays. i work all of the time, and would work 24/7 if I didn't have to sleep! I am always telling people "Np" and making axcuses not to go anywhere if it doesn't involve work. I would rather be at home with my family than be out with friends.

No, I have not yet watched the movie but I will surely take time out to watch Jim Carrey's latest flick as I am big fan of his comic timing. He just goes out of his way to make people laugh and the stuffs that he pulls out sometimes are really unimaginable.
Yeah, I have seen a movie through which I got a deep meaning out of it. It was Evolution , Ya see it. It made me understand after the entire movie that we should always wash our hairs through Head n Shoulders Dandruff Shampoo or else they will remain dirty. Just Kidding!!

I've seen it just yesterday. Good movie, I missed the classic Jim Carey comedies. I also tend to say "yes" more since I've seen a movie. I don't won't to be a no-man
btw can you send me $15 to my paypal account?
you know what's the right answer

lol If you saw the movie you know at the end he finds out he's supposed to make informed decisions. The saying yes to everything was only to get him out doing things. So No I won't send you 15$ to your paypal account, but if you offered me 15$ I would definately say yes!

Yeah, after watching it I've definately been saying yes more often and noticed a difference. Even saying yes to the small things can lead to something that has the potential to make your day better.
The bar fight is by far one of jim carreys funniest scenes.

My buddy and I were just talking about that part at the pool tonight! Its funny because we have totally been around a guy that was that drunk that he made a total goof of himself.
Oh, no! Now she'll never get to go to a ball!

This is a great movie, I couldn't stop laughing! But the underlying message is great too - take a chance on things. Saying yes all the time might not be the answer but getting out of your comfort zone by saying yes when you might have said no is a great idea. You never know, you might actually like it! But you won't know unless you try it...

I saw the movie and like it and I agreed with the statement I heard that it felt like an unofficial sequel to liar liar.
I did not think it was his best work but still pretty funny.
I think the character he played was an over the top version of stuff we all do.
For example, there are days that we want to ourselves, so we may blow off friends. They are people who we know that we wish we did not, so we screen the calls. Sometimes we don't cosy up to the boss in order to get an promotion.
But there are times when we do not do those things.
I know in my life, if I said yes to everything, I would be working more often. i.e. the only thing I said no to this week, is a request to add myself to working Sunday as overtime.

Hi Mark,
No, i haven't watch that movie yet. Thanks for recommending that. I am sure i will like it because i like comedies.
Well, talking about the good movie will have good influence in people's life. I could not agree more! There are so much good movies that every time i watch them, i have some new idea about my newlife. I think i am easier to forget and forgive things and people, that's a big contribution that movie give us.

Oh i loved that movie! Especially when Jim Carey's acting in it, he's so funny...seriously, he's like my favourite comedy actor ever. Well yea, there are a lot of movies and dramas that does gives us a few deep meanings and lessons to learn from, and currently, there isn't one which could make me change into a better-er person assuming that i'm already good enough. hehe. But yea, the movie was great and people should stop being so pessimistic and start going out and saying yes for some time...and to the right things of course. haha..=]

I haven't seen that move. But he is a great actor. I had seen one of his movies Dumb & Dumber. Wow that was simply superb. Excellent comedy from Jim Carry. I really enjoyed that film a lot. I will try to see this one.
