Did you hear the great news? All during the month of May TGI Friday's restaurant is offering all of its salads and sandwiches for just $5.00! The steak sandwich there has a regular price of $11.75. At $5.00 that is less than 50% off! OMG!!
I don't know about you but I can't cook a meal at home for $5.00 a person, or if I do it is not something good like a steak sandwich! The prices have not been this low since 1969. The reason the prices are lower is in response to dwindling patronage of the restaurant due to the current economic situation in this country.
So, are you going to be like me and go to TGI Friday's in May and take advantage of this incredible savings? I know I plan on taking my husband and the kids at least twice this coming month. We really can't afford to go there at the regular prices, but at this less expensive prices we really can't afford NOT to go. And we will probably have left overs!
Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

That is great news! Maybe other places will follow suit? That is a great deal though.. I wonder how far one is away from me..We to my knowledge don't have one close by. I just checked and the closest to me is 68.8 miles away. So that sucks..Well, I can only hope that other restaurants will follow suit..

I'd love to go but for $5, I can have 3-4 meals at home. The cat in your avatar looks as if he's jumping for joy at this post!
That's good of Friday's to do this, it'll give a lot of people a much-needed break and some relaxation. I hope they profit from it, too. The restaurants here in my small city aren't doing well, either.

Wow! I've noticed that your food prices in The US are much less than ours in Australia. I live aloner and I am on a limited, low income and I can feed myself for between $2 and $3 a meal...that's just my main meal, I generally have a sandwhich for luch and a cooked breakfast which is generally way under $2. I'm sorry, but if you can't cook a meal for less than $5 per person then you are doing something wrong.
If the sandwhich is normally $11.50 and on sale $5 then that is MORE than 50% off not less. If the steak sandwiches are included in the special I would be very surprised. I'm pretty sure it will not be the better quality meat at those prices.
Have yourselves a lovely time.

That is good. But I still can eat at home cheaper as well, and with all my bills I can't do it. I go to my Moms with any extra money or not. So I hope you have a good time. You have a great day.

I have to admit that $5.00 is a great deal, especially for a place like Friday's. I am going to be sure to go visit there often this month, I can't pass that deal up. Especially as you can't compare the sandwiches at Friday's to the ones at Subway.

No, because there is no TGIFs close to me and I don't have a car. Seems like a great deal, though.

There is not one near me. I would have to drive so far it would completely negate the savings on the food. It does sound like a real treat, though.

Oh wow! That definitely is a great deal and a wonderful opportunity. It would also let you and your family bond while eating at a restaurant that you cant go to on any given day. If I was there I wont pass this off too Have fun and eat your favorite food for me.
