Every time I hear this song it reminds me of my father... The day he danced with me was the very first time that we danced, it was my debut :( And if ever that I'll play a song for us to dance with I'll play a song that would never ever end. My father is like a brother to me and I miss him a lot. Because he's in the province right now with my mother.
As the line of this song:
If I could get another chance
Another walk, another dance with him
I'd play a song that would never ever end
How I'd love love love to dance with my father again.

I know that song makes me sad. My dad passed away in 2006 and I do not remember us ever dancing. I wanted him to give me away when I get married but that will not happen now. But I know he is watching me and for that I am greatful. Take care and happy mylotting to you.

Ohh.. I'm sorry to hear that :( But this song is really touching, how the child wanted his dad to dance again with her mom. You said that you never had a dance with him?! That was really sad my friend :( So are you married now?
Happy mylotting my friend!

That song reminds me of a family party I went to about 8 or 9 years ago. My dad wasn't one for dancing but, on that particular occasion, he took my mum in his arms and danced with her. Everyone was quite surprised (in a good way). I so wish he was still here to dance with her again.

Really?! That was really surprising for all of you who were there in the party! So touching too.. to see your mom and dad dancing that night, so romantic! So sad that he's not there to dance with your mom again but I know that dance was a very remarkable one...
Happy mylotting my friend!

I think it was Luther Vandross... Do you find it good? It really touches my heart whenever I hear it. How about you?

I love that song! It's a bit heart-breaking and at the same time emotional for me. I haven't seen my dad for a long time that's why I've gotten to that impact with the song. The lyrics are really meaningful and the mellow is so sweet that you can't help but reminisce those moments with your father.
