My brother who lives in another state had to travel to Mexico for work this week. He does that about once or twice a year. Do you ever travel for work? Ever had to go to a different country for a job?

I am a primary school teacher in my home country so I don't travel for a my job overseas. Traveling is my top hobby so I travel to different countries for my own enjoyment. When I was 18 I worked as a children's nanny in Finland. The wages were very high so I managed to save up much to travel around Europe by train. At age 20 I traveled around the world. I let my home out and got a working holiday visa for Australia. Whilst there I worked as a children's nanny, factory worker and charity collector. During my time studying at university I went to live in the Netherlands for a semester. So although I am not currently going abroad for my work I know how wonderful it is to travel for work and study purposes.

I've never had to travel out of country. And tell your brother to becareful with swine flu being out there. Though I've had to travel to another state to close down a store with others on the companies dime. They had no hours and the only way to get any work hours was to go travel in the district managers van and commute almost 2 hrs one way. Crazy things were that slow at the time & with bills to pay you do what you have to do.
