Who do the cooking and who do better?

Hi,mylotters
When you were still young or you are young now,who do the cooking in your family,your mum or your dad,or both?And who do better?In my case,both my parents do the cooking and they both do a good job.It hard for me to choose who do better,but if I have to make a choice,then I choose my father.I really like the food he make for us!

Nice topic. In my family. My mom and my dad are all lazy, me and my sister do the cooking most of the time when we are oldder. My mom sometimes cook and my dad sometimes cook, too. My dad is a good cook! I love his dish. It's strange, all of the friends that i know, man are usually don't cook, but once they cook, their cook is the best!

When I was yonger my mom did just about all the cooking because she was a stay at home mom and my step dad worked until supper time. He was a good cook though as he used to cook at a restauarant but quit to be a mechanic.
Now in my life I do just about all of the cooking. The only reason I don't is if the kids aren't home I get my boyfriend to cook for me or we just eat out. He likes his food really really cooked... like burnt. He likes the little black pieces on his food! Me and the kids can't stand any black on our food. The moment it looks burnt it's nasty to us! So, I make our food and leave his there to burn some...lol. Or if he is cooking I pretty much keep checking on it and then take it out so he can finish his.

When I was a child,my father cooked the most.When I graduated from the high school,I learned to cook.In the summer holiday,I cooked most.I love cooking.Because I cooked for my dad and mom.I felt happy!Now I study in the university and I can only cook when I have a holiday.I do love the thing!

In my house I do most of the cooking but my husband will also do his fair share of it. I would say I am the better cook. I know how to cook a lot more things that my husband does. We know when he cooks we are getting the same few meals LOL As for when I was growing up my mom was the only one who cooked as she was a single parent. I have taken a lot of her recipes and put my own twist into them to make it to where my family will eat it because there are a few things that my husband and kids don't like that I do so I will go without eating them so they will. If I am home by myself and it is quick to make I will make something they way I like it just so I can have a taste of it every now and again :)
