For Myself To Succeed Obama Must Fail

The last Super Bowl the Pittsburgh Steelers needed the Arizona Cardinal to fail. Their success depend upon someone else's failure. The Steelers had their own agenda which might not have been in the best interest of the NFL. Arizona had never had any success, while the Steeler have had plenty. An Arizona victory would have been one of those rags to riches stories that everyone loves to hear about. Yet the Steeler did not concern themselves about what was in the best interest of the league but concerned themselves with what was best for themselves. I too have my own agenda, which for the most part runs in conflict with Obama's agenda. I want complete control over my life, which Obama wants to control sections of my life. I want complete control over my property, Obama want to control a chuck of my property. I want less government he wants more. His success is my, as an individual failure. My success will be his failure. So yes I hope he fails.

People seem to forget that when two things compete one must succeed and the other must fail. The best example I ca think of is the difference between WWII and the Korean War. In WWII we clearly won the war and installed a Democracy in Germany and Japan. Both countries benefited from this. In the Korean War neither side won and neither side failed. Today you have one country ruled by two different governments and both want to be one country but that will not happen until one country fails completely. For me to be successful I need business to grow and expand, taxes to be lower and government to get out of my life. When government starts to make rules and tells you how to live your life then it is too big.

The competitors are the looters verses the producers, neither can co-exist.

America's success can only come about by his failure. 0bozo wants America to fail so he can implement his socialist plans for us fully.

Too much control and taxing is why many people will not start new companies which would speed up getting out of the recession. However they do not give enough breaks and support because the tax's are too high. They have boxed everyone in where you can't afford to do the things that would allow people to help theirselves and create jobs. The reason is control....hold the little guys down and they want to keep all the power...! They could do many things to encourage business and give the people breaks but they won't. They do not want alot of people with alot of money because than it is more work for them to take em over for their one world order....

Government is like a lead jacket for a run. A runner can overcome a lot but eventually the weight well become to much and the runner will become ineffective.

I hope he fails because I have relatives who lived through Communism and I do not want Americans to live through that. I do not like the idea of someone who wants the government to do all for the people and not allow the people to help themselves It also disturbs me that Obama and his minions do not want the religious institutions to help people and will do all their power to stop them. For one thing, that volunteer brigade he plans cannot have an affiliation with any church, cannot prostelyze or witness. In other words, like in Communist countries, in Obamanism the State is the god.

Yep I know the feeling. IN order to live my life the way I want to (which means I win) that mean Obama AND congress have to fail.

America is best when the individual wins, and not the government.

Great point Gew. When Rush first made this statement it was a huge awakening for many, including myself. Then of course the Liberals and the mains stream media have to go and turn it all around to make it look as if we want America to fail. Instead of seeing it for what it really means.

What I do not understand about people who want Obama to fail so they can control their lives is the fact that they also want everybody else to think exactly as they do. I think that having everyone think exactly the same and tow the line is the very worst form of totalitariansim. Look at what is happening with the Republican party. They want less control from the government on everything but they will not tolerate anyone in their political party who does not tow the line and exactly as they do. Any Republican who currently wants to think for him or her self is now called a Rino and there is an active movement to drum them out and purify the party. (Purify the party even sounds like a Nazi dogma) There is no consenses. There is no room for disagreement. There is no dissent. You seem to be saying that the Steelers should have rolled over and given up because you wanted to see an underdog win. Isn't it the best team that's supposed to win? Is Obama also supposed to roll over and concede your points so you can feel in control regardless of what the rest of the country thinks? In a democracy doesn't the consense of the majority win?

Gew, being a Steelers fan, I must say that your comment is not only wrong, but it is an insult to the team. The reason the Steelers owned Arizona is because they had a great game plan, they stuck to it (even when it wasn't working), and they wanted it more than Arizona. The Cardinals didn't fail, they were just out played by a much better team. I don't think that Obama is trying to run you life, or take control of your life (unless you are a CEO of a major bank, or GM or Chrysler). I personally think that what he is doing will help this country, but I know you will disagree with me. I won't attack your comments, because this is how I felt about Bush, so it would be hypocritical to attack your comments when I said the same thing about Bush. I think that Bush did do somethings ok (of course the vast majority of his actions were wrong, and unconstitutional, and if one of us did it we would be in jail), and I am sure that years from know you may say the same things about Obama. I always remember seeing people with these bumper stickers in 1994: Don't blame me, I voted for Bush. After the economy turned around, I never saw one of those again. If Obama turns the economy around, and grows the economy, then you will see more people happy with his leadership. One of the things that we all have to remember is that the American people want to succeed, so they will give the president the bennfit of the dought. So you will be in the minority of the American people (atleast in the real world, mylot is entirely different, you are in the majority here). But remember, his failure will lead to the failure of the country.

Did not Arizona fail to overcome Pittsburgh's game plan, say it with me yes they did. There is the problem with your logic you say Obama does not want to control my life, but you say that if he fails USA will fail. How can one man have so much impact that he could save America without controling each and everyone's life?

Arizona did not succeed so they failed. If you do not succeed you fail. You say that Obama will not change my life, yet your statement his failure will lead to the failure of the country, mean that that he must has some control over my life. Your failure in has no affect on my success because you do not control me. Now if you did control me your failure would have impact on my life. Look I understand that you are partisan and anything a Republican does is wrong in your eyes and everything a Democrat does is right. Good day Greatdebater I am about to go to work and succeed while other fail.

Gew, a team can execute their game plan to perfection, they can do everything they want to do, and still lose the game. This team didn't fail, they were just out played. Ever look at a box score of a baseball game where a team completely dominates a team, but loses because of one mistake? A team can also execute their game plan to perfection, and force the other team to change theirs and defeat them. When the economy went crazy under Clinton, did it effect your life? Now I can understand how Bush'e economy did effect your life, because of the housing boom. And, under Reagan your life may have changed do to destruction of most of the blue collar jobs. I really would like to know what you think Obama will change (besides your nightly TV line up, which I will give you that one)?
