just how often you reinstall your OS ? and because of what ? I'm always reinstalling my OS after 6 month or so. (ghost drive is counted as reinstall) it's usually because my OS has become too slow because there's too much junk in my registry, too much to the point registry cleaner cannot help it anymore.

I have 5 Computers, I rent them. So many people used them with each application they want, finally you must know what happened later? Lol. so that I must reinstall them soon, sometime in a month, or at least in two months. Very sad.

In past I wasn't having good antivirus, so due to virus problem I reinstalled OS so many times, but in recent I haven't. To check registry problems there are many softwares available on net. Best one will be TuneUP Utilities which will solve all your computer problems including registry.

I don't have reinstall my OS to tell you the truth. I would only do it if it was messing up real bad, but knock on some wood I have not had any trouble.

I dont reinstall too often...last time i installed was more than a year ago.I just use registry cleaner regularly. Also,i dont stuff up my hard disk with useless software (something i used to do earlier which resulted in too many junk being left everywhere and always slowed down my pc).So if u keep your pc clean, dont run any suspicious software, and use ur free time to remove the junk,it should be as good as new for a long time.

It's hard for me to not keep junk, sometimes I need them, lol. and of course I use ccleaner regularly too, it does help my computer speed, but after 6 month I think it's just the time to re format my HD.
