You can do a lot with wonton wraps. The most common is to make wontons with some mince meat (chicken in this case), Chinese mushrooms, spring onions and even carrots. All vegetables ought to be diced finely and mixed in with the mince before seasoning such as salt/soy sauce and pepper is added. Then you just put a teaspoonful of the mince in the middle, wrap it up and it's ready for wonton soup. You can also deep fry these wontons that you've made up and serve it with sweet chilli sauce. Some people use fish paste instead of mince meat, while others add in more vegetables, soya/tofu and etc. There is even a dish that utilizes just wonton skin without anything in a soup, turning it into noodles. Hope this helps.

This is more of a dessert option than appetizer, but I made chocolate wontons for my family and they loved them. You use Nutella, or any other chocolate-hazelnut spread. You put a teaspoon of Nutella in the middle of the wonton, then you wet the edges of the wrapper. Fold it in half, like a triangle, and seal the edges with a fork. Once you have all of the wontons made, you fry them in canola oil until they are lightly golden on both sides. I place them on a rack to cool and drain, and I dust them with powdered sugar. They are wonderful. I've also done this with apple pie filling, and a caramel sauce instead of the powdered sugar.
