Myspace or Facebook?

Which do you prefer? I personally like Myspace better than Facebook. Alot of stuff on Facebook has become quizzes or apps that others share and it is sometimes overwhelming to keep up with. Myspace is a little more laid back and less stuff sent back and forth. I like the Myspace layout better and how user friendly it is overall. I like uploading pics and videos to Myspace and they seem to be better oraganized.
Anyways just wondering, I was just on both of them trying to get caught up for the week and realized that while I have alot of friends on Facebook I dont like it as much as others do.

I use both of them. I like myspace a lot better though. There isnt much to do on Facebook like there is to do on Myspace. The main reason I have Facebook is because a few people have it and it's the only way for me to keep in touch.

I think Myspace is a little more personal and you can customize alot more with them. Or so I have found. Maybe if I spent more time on Facebook I could do the same. I just think its easier with Myspace. I sign into Facebook daily just to see what everyone else is up to and thats about it. I get so many messages about quizzes and apps that I just dont have time for them. I get them on Myspace too but not as much.

For me I would say neither. But I hear that Twitter is the next big thing. I think it is because people are getting sick of all the applications on facebook and really just want to let everyone know what they are up to and that is about it. I never did get into Myspace and I quickly got rid of facebook. I like to be ninja online and not have anyone know where I am at. I think that if I haven't kept in touch with you for the last 20 years, there was likely a reason. LOL

I am on Twitter as well. I started with Myspace about 3 years ago and with Facebook about 7-8 months ago. Twitter I just signed up with about a month ago.

I've only been on facebook so I cannot compare. But I will agree the apps can be insane! I don't do much more than a couple of apps, chat, and comment on the wall or pics. The onlything I don't like is how slow it runs even on DSL! You'd think I was on dial-up sometimes with as slow as it goes.

Ugh I know. I have the same issues when I use my laptop sometimes. I hate when things go slowly online.

I like myspace better myself. I have tried to do the whole facebook thing and I have had trouble understanding it. I am sure if I spent more time with it I could understand it better but myspace appeals to more I guess. Not to mention the fact I had someone friend me and all they do is keeping spamming me all the time, and to be honest it is very annoying. Anyway thats my vote on it, take care and happy mylotting to you as well.

I use both and have two completely different sets of "friends".. that lends itself to having different purposes for the two. I am liking facebook less and less because it's becoming a lot more of apps and games and less getting to know people.
Myspace has less traffic and I actually use it less.
I check in with both of them daily to keep up with mial and notices.

It does allow social interaction and would be really great if I had time to reply and do each and every one of them..oh well. Most of the people I know prefer Facebook to Myspace as well.

Cant you just say you are from somewhere else? I cant remember what it was like to sign up. I know I have since changed my email and can not change it through the site as a sign on because I cancelled the old email. Oh well. You should just try saying you are from a different country. I know I have seen other people who are originally from China on there and say they are from the US or some other place, not sure if they are or not really............

Not on question, but I do prefer Twitter!
From the two I do like Facebook a lot better mainly because you feel surrounded by a more mature scene. Not the biggest fan of either to be honest. Myspace feels childish, and Facebook seems caught up in groups and apps. I just use Facebook to talk to my friends, and look at pictures.

i prefer facebook myself. I love doing the quizzes and surveys.. so much fun. But there's something that i hate in facebook, its script error, i do not know if this also happens to anyone. My computer will always hang up everytime ill use facebook. But i love the facebook chat, it makes you connected to your friends.

I prefer Facebook because I have not used MySpace before haha. Facebook is an easy way to connect with old friends and have fun at the same time by playing games or taking quizes.

I prefer facebook.
The applications and stuff can become quite annoying at times.
But everyone I know uses facebook. I don't think anyone I know uses myspace anymore!

I prefer Facebook. Myspace seems to bog down my computer even after we got a new computer with plenty of RAM. I don't go on there that much but just in trying to change backgrounds and such I had such a problem with it and was so frustrating for me I finally cancelled my acct. I don't really have a lot of time to go there anyway.
I don't do all that extra stuff on Facebook either. I don't really see a point in it besides I'd rather being doing other stuff with my extra time.

Facebook and MySpace are just the same for me. I just love the writing on the wall at Facebook...cute...but it doesn't have a comment section where you could send graphic greetings which Myspace has. Though Myspace is just the same with other sites as Yuwie where you have a comment section for graphic greetings. Though Facebook is more organized and features are vivid and you feel a little privacy in it. I love Yuwie more the networking site that pays. It's a worl for friendship and I have a lot of dear online friends there.

I love facebook! mainly because it's easier to keep up with all the social networks I'm in for college. I also like it cause it looks clean, and structured.
The fun things that are on Myspace, are lots of fun but they can also be so extravagent that it makes the computer slow and annoying!
Facebook is so much easier to look and search for information...though I will admit it's not the best for pictures, videos, and applications ( though myspace's applications are getting to be aggravating themselves. I do NOT want anybody's invites on my comment page, tbh )
