Hi moneymommy,
I always would go online when I am sick. When you are sick and house bound there is only so much TV you can watch. At least when we go online we can not spread any germs to our friends and still chat to them when we are ill.
But I do agree if I am too sick to get out of bed then, I feel like doing nothing but sleep till I feel better.

If I'm very sick I usually don't bother to do anything except to ask my kids some help here and there, because they are old enough to be able to help when I need to.
The computer is the last think to use when you are sick. It takes a certain amount of energy to accomplish something, which is in my case a hole load of work I have in a day.

I am home sick from work and there is absolutely nothing I can or would like to do. Whenever I think I am able to watch a bit of television, do some mylotting or read I get overcaught by the fact I need to vomit, have a bad headache or I am just to plain tired. Then I try to sleep, and my throath and ear are too soar to sleep. Arrgh! That's what annoys me about being sick, I am not the person to just do nothing and I hope I will be able to get back to work very soon..
I have made an appointment with my doctor but he has no room today so I need to waite till tomorrow afternoon. Which means that I don't have anything to do untill then as I was hoping this appointment to be at least somewhat of an outing from my boredom
I should stay in bed but when boredom strikes and I can't get to sleep either, I will wonder out of bed every now and again to try and keep busy with something.

I am blessed to have a laptop, so stay in bed and still go online is possible. But I seldome stay in bed when sick, maybe just one day unless it is far worse than just flu. I try to stay as active as possible to help recovery, and mylotting is very active.

It depends on how sick I am. If it's just a little cold, it won't stop me from getting online. However, the last time I got sick (which was at the beginning of this month) I couldn't do anything, but lay in bed. I, along with my husband and kids, had a terrible flu. We were too weak to do anything, let alone get online, so we just slept.

I think it depends on how uncomfortable I feel. If it's only a little healthy problem, then I will still go online since it's my hobby. If I really feel badly, I will stay in bed to have a good rest. I found that having a good sleeping will make you recover soon.

I log on to the internet only from my office. And my computer in online all day long. So if I am well enough to come to office I am well enough to come online. Sometimes I may be too tired to be online the whole day long. But I cannot be away for too long.

Yes, generally if I feel well enough to get up out of bed I also like to spend time relaxing online. Of course, I agree with you, that if I don't feel quite so well or worse than usual I am not going to struggle just to get up to get on the computer, but if I am up and about as normal but a bit sick, then I will.

It depends on how bad I am feeling. If I don't feel too bad I will get on the internet on my laptop while I am still in bed. If I feel even too bad to do that I will watch TV or watch a movie and hope I fall asleep or hope the show or movie will distract my mind from how bad I feel.

If I am sick I usually just want to sleep, I have eye problems and when I'm sick with anything I just can't see very well.

hello moneymommy
that depends on how sick that i am. if i have a little cold or a sore throat or allergies or something like that, that i will get online. if i have the flu or some kind of a virus, then i will usually lay in the bed. there has either been three or five outbreaks here in Tennessee now of the swine flu. one school here is closed today due to the swine flu, and i think that the news said that that school will be closed for seven more days. i sure hope that the swine flu stays away from all of us here, and that it doesn't enter the schools where that my children go. let us all pray that we are all safe from the swine flu.
take care and have a beautiful day today!

for me it all depends on what I am sick with and just how sick exactly I am
normally I push through most illnesses
but if I am REALLY sick then all I want to do is lay on the couch and vegitate

When I get sick I really don't feel like doing anything but resting and trying to feel better.
That's why I was feeling bad the last two days I have not been on and I felt lost and apart from the world since I didnt my lot for almost two days.
It was sad. It was like apart of me was missing. I felt bad that I could be on. But I am feeling somewhat better now but still little under the weather.
