My experience is only in regards to part time study which I worked very hard at while working, taking care of my family and the house! It did get chaotic and I tried studying at the local library but I didn't like the isolation so I used to lock myself in the office and put up with the odd interruption from my little daughter. It was hard but I did it! Studying with a friend sounds like a good idea.

I have faced this kind of situation before too in my life and might possible that this problem will occure to me in future as well but I have the most effective solution in these kind of situtations I perfer to go to library where the surrounding is clean noice free and I can able to concentrate I perfer to sit in the end of library where normal member doesnot pass, so that I can concentrate in my studies, at night I perfer to spend some time with my friends home so that we just do revision of the study made in library this helps me to improve my effeciency and also help to know that how much I have prepared for my exams, you can also try this its a good method of studying...which helps me to achive more marks in my exams.

I would prefer home since I'm most comfortable there, but if it was impossible there at times I would go to a park or some place to be alone so I would not be distracted. Even libraries can be distracting at times. They are a good place when you need somewhere to go to get out from the weather... rain, heat, etc. It's all in where you fell you can get the most studying done.

The problem which you are facing currently is not uncommon. I have finished my graduation and am on post graduation, and if you were to take my advise it would be best if you can go out with a friend to combine study. it is mandatory that you and your friend is serious about your studies. It could be his/ her place or it could be a library. Stay for some extended hours in your school/ college to study if they allow it. Best of luck for the forthcoming exams.

For me, I would be prefer to study at the library because it will makes me feel calm and ready to do anything. Futhermore, somehow when I'm with books my physical and mental activities increases and this increase the percentage for me to remember something. For you, I would suggest that you ask yourself which condition will make your body work with its maximum power. It's whether you must study in quiet or noisy place. Ask yourself and you'll find the answer.

I have just completed my studies in school and going to a college. I know the difficulties in having guests at home near the exams. I would prefer to go to the library in those cases. That's better, right? Of coruse, it is. Happy mylotting and best of luck for the exams -AJ

Given the options, I would like to be in library rather than at home because that place would be more calm and quite. The best thing for reading or studying that you need a quite place, library would be m choice. The other whch I will not opt for is having chat on internet even with our friends at mylot. I would give more concentration towards my studies. No offense though, it was just a suggestion.

well if you can concentrate enough to ignore the guests mentally, i would say just study at home. the same thing happens to me. my brother comes to visit me every summer during my semester exams. i just lock myself in a room and start study.

I am still in college and I can understand what's going through you.I would definitely prefer studying at home since the ambience which we get at home is not available in the school library. Moreover, all the notes, books that you have underlined the important sentences and topics you have to study are at a step away at home which is very hard to carry them to the library. Also,at home if we feel to take a break,we have entertainment options like television, computers which freshens up our mind..

Going anywhere other than home helps me study for exams. I just can't focus if I'm home.

I prefer to study at home because there are many people in the library. Though they are reading books quietly,I would distracted by others. I always study in my room alone.

I experience this kind of situation a lot and its really annoying. I prefer studying in the library, but I usually do this months before the exams so I won't be worrying about conditions like this and cramming a week before the actual tests, thereby reducing the amount of stuff that I have to review. And since this is your current situation, if I were in your place I'd rather stay in the library. In my case, I like competing with the noise, I can memorize more when there are distractions coz I tend to focus. Either way, good study habits really works. When I was studying I keep notes a lot and I have a tape recorder that I use to listen to everytime I'm on my way to school. I always do the exercises before hand so less study a day before the exam. Actually you should be relaxing now.

Their is a science to studying. It is a proven fact that our sences play a big role in recalling information. The factors you need to consider are whether or not you can concentrate in that environment and how close you can make it to where you are being tested at. If your allowed to listen to music, make a mix of songs specific for each subject. That way you are listening to the same things durring study and durring examinations. Also get something with a fragrance so you can smell the same things durring study and testing. Another tip is to draw a symbol or pattern and stare at it when you are doing rote memorization than draw the same symbol to stare at durring the test to help you recall that you memorized.

I go to the library after school every day to study and hang out never to check out books...if i had a choise i would choose home just wait till like 1-2 A.M. and get up and do it thats what i do when i dont have enough time to study or do any homework.

i am not a student at presnt, but i can understand your condition, i too had such problems, but i used to go to my friends house, which was quiet and her mom was a workign lady so we were comfortable, at library u have to sit in one position which is not suitable for studying for hours and you wont feel like at home and so wont be able to study properly i think.

In your situation I would probably choose to study at the library. I have sometimes done that in the past where I was in a similar situation and when there too many people in my own home to concentrate on my studies. At the library there is quiet and you have access to other books than our own if you need to find information about something etc. The only bad thing about studying at the library is that it isn't a very comfortable place to if you are spending many hours there.

When I was still a student, I often went to the library to study because there was less distraction. At home, I have to fight off the desire to lie down, watch tv and I also have to prepare my lunch and dinner. If I go to the library, I have nothing to do but read, no distractions. When I get hungry, all I have to do is go to the cafeteria and buy food. Took less time. Take care!

definitely the library or do what I had to do to study for my CNA license I left the house because of the noise level and drove to a quiet park away from everyone. Just me the birds and the fishies reading and studying. There's your option number three. But most other times the comfort of my home a prefered.
