I believe its a very beautiful love story. I like most girls and some guys always cry at the end! I want nothing more than to be in the story myself, lol. Because, lets just face it, love like that is very rare in this world today. I love how she stood up for what she believed in, and how he was drawn to her innocence and her inner beauty, as well as the outside beauty. I love how he was drawn to wanting to be a better person, because of what he saw in her. It truly inspires me. She was so determined to be who she was, and I face the same challenges, because of my Christianity. Not many guys out there in the world, love a Christian girl. Not many people understand it, so therefore, they tend to do the same things those "friends" did in the movie. Constantly, say hurtful and mean things. In the end, just like that movie, they will understand. That's why I absolutely LOVE the movie :).

this is one of my favorite movies. i missed it on the large screen coz i must have been travelling at the time. but i watched it several times on videos. and one valentine night at work (a few years back), a guy i worked with surprised me by setting up the lcd screen projector at the office and we watched this movie like in a private movie world... large screen, popcorn and all. hehe
this is a feel-good movie that i can watch over and over again. it is a beautiful love story. what's so attractive and moving about it is its simplicity... not heavy drama... but still a tear jerker nonetheless. it makes you believe in love, in people, the goodness of people, and in miracles in life. :)

awesome comment! That's such a beautiful story about the guy that did that for you on Valentine's Day. Its crazy how love works sometimes. Most of the time people complicate it, but it has its way of working out in the most simple ways. I love watching it, you know its a great movie when you never get tired of watching it lol.
ty for the response!

i think its great knowing that there are guys out there that are willing to be nice guys. i've had a few guys prove me wrong about the comment "all men are bad". because honestly they aren't...some guys can be just like "Landon" lol. we just have to be willing to let them.. by not comparing them to the bad ones!

I saw this movie on DVD this year with my husband. It was a very touching story. I agree with you about the way that people are treated. It is very unfair when people are criticized for behaving in a proper manner. It's a very sad statement about the way humans treat each other.

I agree. I face it now, myself. I'm living a life of abstinance, and its hard, but still I say that and people look at me like I'm crazy or like I'm a "goodie, goodie". When honestly, I just don't like partaking in "certain" things anymore. I mean maybe someday when I meet a guy who actually loves me for me and I mean truly, not just to say it and get what he wants. I mean a deep relationship, one that will last forever :). MARRIAGE! lol. :)

Yes. it was a superb movie and I enjoyed it thoroughly. The plot was great and how that girl brings a change in that guy's life is superb. In fact how that guy changes he thought towards life is also great and it's on superb love story.

i loved how the light that jamie (mandy moore) shined so bright that, yes, it did change the way Landon (Shane West) thought about life. :)

hihi...
same as you, i really love the movie alot alot..
it is extremely extremely touching...
for me, i do not really fancy such love and romantic movies because usually it is very slow and boring and no climaz..
but for this movie, i feel that although it is not a very fast moving movie, it is interesting enough to keep me glued to the screen...
and although there isnt really any climaz, i feel that the whole movie is a climaz..
i watched it twice and i dont mind watching it again...
