I have a crooked smile,
Below my crooked nose.
Down below my crooked spine,
My feet have crooked toes.
My right leg is six inches shorter than the left,
I have a hump upon my back.
My ears are pointy and full of dirt,
My remaining teeth are black.
When i walk the streets at day,
Women turn their backs in fear.
Parents bring their children in,
Heck I'm just going to get a beer.
People laugh and point at me,
My friends left long ago.
I made the cover of The World Weekly News,
I'm like a one man freak show.
But when I'm on the computer,
I hide behind the net.
No one sees the ugly truth,
I'm the greatest guy you've met.
You cannot see my pimply face,
The hairy wart between my eyes.
You think I'm a fun and loving bear,
THAT'S WHY I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

Hey sconi! Great! It's 1:00am and I'm just sitting here
staring into space and there pops this weirdo discussion
on my screen! I'm not sure who is more wacko you or me! I
should probably be off to dreamland, but no, I'm here in

on this keyboard I have no feelings,
so go ahead and chip away!
I close my eyes

I missed all the fun! I so wanted to be on the lot last night and answer all those great discussions but my internet connection was acting wonky and I couldn't get anything done. I finally just gave up and went to bed. But I'm here now and I'm ferreting out all those great discussions that I saw last night. Better late than never huh?
Oh, BTW, your poem reminded me of a song. I'm not sure of the title but if the title is not this it is at least one of the lines in the song. Maybe you have heard it? "I'm so much cooler online"
I kinda adopted it as my theme song.

You didn't place a copyright! Other people will steal such a lovely poem and print it in bookmarks and wall decors and you don't get credit for it. TOo sad.

I'm not a poet by any means, but I have put together one or two.
Usually pretty sill ones. My daughter has more talent for poems than I do, although it's not a hobby for her (it was for about a year), when her language arts classes touch on poetry, she usually comes up with one or two good ones.
I thought about "borrowing" them from her and posting them here on myLot. So far I haven't followed through.
I like the poem you posted here. It's funny but it's also got some truth to it.
I've had that "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain" quote from Wizard of Oz on my mind a lot lately. The Principal at my son's school makes me think of that for some reason...

LOL great poem, I love poetry and silly poems are no exceptions.
It was raining and raining all week so I wrote a silly ditty about it:
Another rainy day
I wanted to go out in the sun
and lay.
Another rainy day
Stuck inside again
We cannot play!
Another rainy day
Cloudy and dark outside
What can I say?
Another rainy day
So beautiful
Giving life
Nourishing our plants
Helping everything grow
This offers some comfort
and is nice to know...
Even though it's been rainy

It is all true though, We can use to make up this fictional life and character if we choose who is cool and fun loving and everyone likes. When on the other side of it we can be totally different. Someone everyone passes on the street and decides to cross to the other side or someone everyone in real life makes fun of but on the net they can be superman or darn near close to perfect. I am by far the least perfect person I know. I might not have no warts(anymore)but I am glad mylot accepts me as I am and glad I don't have to build up a story tell life to make them like me. But I will throw you some Skittles..What color is your favorite? Sometimes I do think of poems although most aren't silly they are more about the unhappiness of the soul.
