Hey ya' all! Remember the jukebox in your booth at your favorite dive or bar or the one out near the dance floor? Well, my dad sent me a website that brings back the beloved jukebox! It has music from the 50's for all you Bobbysoxers out there, to the 60's, 70's and 80's, to Country, to Gospel, to TV themes, to Easy Listen, to everything in between. Find your music favorite, click on it, start playing it, click the minimize button on the little jukebox that pops up and go back to work on your computer or laptop while listening to all your oldies favorites. (Boy, its tough to believe 80's music is considered oldies music! Whew!) That site is www.tropicalglen.com. Cool beans, huh?

I haven't seen a jukebox in quite a few years!!! I used to work at the bar here in town and during the week they played the jukebox and on weekends they dj'd music. I remember all the good oldies! Although I am pretty young for oldies I love them. My mom had this car when I got my license and all it had was an am radio in it that got the oldie station and the songs are a cliassic. I have downloaded alot of them onto my pc and alot of my friends are like "what is that???" and my kids even look at me funny. I really like alot of them though! Great music for cleaning!

We dont really have that here and the closest that I got to a jukebox was at a local diner with the retro 60's theme. The decor are all 60's with the Beatles, James Dean, and Marilyn Monroe photos in huge frames. The tiles are black and white too. Im not really sure that it was a working jukebox during its time though but it seemed like it. Now its just for display. At least I got to touch it and press the buttons when I was in high school.LOL!
