why is it that some women are attracted to older men???

three years is good, but i'm like u i never thought about being interested in somone old enough to be my father to be interested in romantically. i had a father. i wanted someone around my age . i think alot of time money is a big reason. they are wanting someone to give them a good life of nice homes, cars, clothes etc. of course an older man would be quite flattered by a young lady's interest in him . of course i'm no expert on relationships for sure.

Maybe they are looking for maturity. Older men tend to become less aggressive when dealing with women. Or it may go with a father figure not because of an incest tendency but longing for a father's affection.

because old guys has a good way of thinking for the future and financial secured.

I think it's because women want to be taken care of and they think older men can do it better then younger men. Personally, I'm 7 1/2 years older then my fiancee. I like younger men. They're more fun.

Simply because the youngsters don't know what the ladies like.They loaf around without a job combing their hair every second and wearing the flashy cloths thinking that girls may fall for them like nine pins.But the poor chaps underestimate the smart girls who always look for security and help in life.The young girls easily fall for the suave,polished,well mannered rich old men who has accumulated the best qualities for years.Moreover they know very well how to treat a lady.

A FATHER FIGURE? No freaking way!!!! I'm 27 and my husband is 63, and the last thing I was looking for was a father. I married him because in all honesty, the guys around here that are my age are a bunch of immature idiots who will probably take another 40 years to grow up, and I just don't feel like waiting that long. Now in the case of the ones who ARE looking for fathers, I can see that has having somewhat incestuous tendencies, but this "father thing" is not the only, or even the main reason why some women look for older men. As for y husband falling for me, a much younger woman, he was married three times before to women his age, and he found that because of the way they were raised, they were too stuck in traditional gender roles. While my husband is very mature for his age, he's quite ahead of his time, and even my time, in a lot of cases. We balance eachother well, and really don't notice the age difference.

Hi friend, according to my opinion It is the maturity which is found in older man than the same age group man. This maturity and sincereity in older man will get womans attracted and also they found more care for them in him.

In most cases, younger women who were attracted to older guys is looking for a father figure specially if the guy is understanding and loving. Most woman go for that.. but there are times that when men are financially sound, ladies also will be attracted to them even if they are much older than them. Most ladies go for security reasons.. that is just my opinion.

Older men have learned how to treat a woman and they value a younger woman that is attracted to them. For many woman it's the first time they have been treated well. It's easy to love someone like that.

What woman look for in a man is maturity. Initially the immature acts catches women's eye but when together woman wants her mate to be responsible and mature. Older men are mature therefore woman who are mature than her age looks towards an older man...same is the case with boys.......Boys are attracted to older woman because of the same reason......my theory...

My aunt had asked me to marry an older man when I was 20. She said I can get all his money very fast, she wanted to introduce a rich man to me which my daddy and I hate this so much. Of course, this is one of the reasons some are attracted by older men. But you can't deny some women were indeed attracted to older men and married him just only for love.

I like this discussion. For me, I see that older men really know how to take care of a woman + how to treat her like a princess. Older men are more sensitive and they always put you first before anything and anyone else. They also seem to know what to say all the time... These are all based on my personal experience.

I dated a few men who were older than me and right now I am dating someone who is younger than me. For me age isn't a factor, I look at personality, actions and intelligence. My attraction is more to the inside than the outside.

Relationships, love and marriage sure are not governed by any fundamental rules.An older man with a much younger wife is always a matter of intrigue and curiosity.Age is the energy of the body and mind.I think younger women feel more secure with the older man because they believe that he would be more mature who can relate to them understand them better. I cannot think of any reason for this riyasam.Personally,I do not fancy such matches even in Mills &Boon stories and these stories find less favour with me.Perhaps one reason could be that they can twist the man around their little fingers mmm~

may be because older men care for their women. They have experience in all matters. They will treat the woman like a daughter. So some women fall for them.

Well yes I do; I mean I was easily attracted to older men when I was single. I guess this has something to do w/ a lot of security issues. I like older men because am expecting them to be more mature and experienced in life; more patient and understanding and most of all expectedly more secure in terms of financial stability. Well I ended up w/ a man 3 yrs older than me....we can never tell.

I really don't know much about that, but maybe not only is the father figure present when women look at those men, but how they act, they are much mature than guys of the same age as women today, so they get more attracted to the ones who are much much older than them. And vice versa, older men too prefer women who are much younger than them hehehe. That is just an observation though.
