I admit that my family is one of them. We grew up normally but we don't consider ourselves to be part of a middle class family. Because of the fact that when I was a kid we can't even purchase what we want. Maintaining basic necessities is our main goal and obtaining what we want is just part of our dreams. We don't have our own shelter as well. Our family is now can be considered part of the middle class, because of integrity in what they keep on doing everyday, they we're able to provide us what we need and sometimes, give us what we want. So we are very thankful for them being our parents.

Well right now in a financial since I think I would be considered a bit poor in society I guess, but in the grand scheme of my life I dont think I am poor becuse being poor is really a state of mind, and I dont consider myself poor in that since, just becuse a person dosent have a lot of money that dosent necessarily make them poor becuse I'm rich in spirit, and in life what really matters is that you carry yourself with confidence and try to put your best foot forward no matter what, in fact its becuse of this falosify that most people think I'm wealthy when they meet me in real life Now dont get me wrong I'm very aware that we need money to live and survive in life, thats why most of us are always searching for the best financial opportunity's available, but lets for get whats most important in life, and that is living and being the best person we can be for ourselves as well as for others.

well, I dont agree with the statement. Man makes society, society doesn't make an individual. All the fingers cant be alike. Even I belong to a middle class family, but I dont consider myself or my family being part of middle class stature.Every body is not born with a silver spoon, one must work towards it.I have many dreams and aspirations in life but I am working hard to achieve it so that I can provide all the amenities or luxury to my parents which they sacrificed in order to make our living better..! There are many living inspirations in the world whose deeds and hard work has made them to leave mark of their own. Therefore we should never feel small or being a part of the poor society. regards geetika have a happy mylotting

Ya, I am considered to be "poor". I usually don't "feel" poor. I budget pretty well and my daughter and I don't go without anything that we "need". Our "wants"....well, we budget them in and save for things if we really want them and don't have the money. we get by and we are content. Keeping things simple means less stress.

I consider my self in the poor class and I am ok with that really! We have our day to day struggles but we always seem to find a way! Me and the b/f both do without just to give the kids what they want so.... We do alright. As long as we are happy we are ok being poor. Happy Mylotting!

Exactly. I would rather be poor in money but rich in love and family. As a single mom it can be very hard to get the things my kids always want. The key to that is to teach them young that money isnt everything. we live in a very smal town and not much for work here but i was able to land a job here at the kids school. poor rich, its all a state of mind as to how you view things.

I consider myself from middle class family, growing up with enough money to sometimes enjoying life but also work hard to earn it. I think it is because my mom was so good managing money when I was little. But human never satisfied, isn't it? When I enter my high school, which is well known to be "rich kids" school, sometimes I cannot keep up with what my friends have. Always go to school with car, changing their cellphone regularly, go to the mall etc. But I always be greatful with what my parents teach me, always be humble and never give up in reaching your dream. Adjust yourself in that society and life will never be as hard as it seems.

I have spent almost my entire adult life being one of the poor. I was a single mom and without child support, raising kids is rough. I was always a few dollars away from getting my utilities shut off. I am a part of the poor society and if I could keep anyone else from joining me, it would be this: Get an education or learn a trade. You need a way to earn good money if you do not want to be poor.

I think were not in the poor society. As of now, were living in a 3 room house with appliances. We also have a helper who comes in our house everyday to help the daily activities. We can also buy stuffs which are not really needed. However,we also experience financial problem.I can remember times that my mom and dad fight over money. It really depends, sometimes we have money, sometimes we dont.

I admit your good sentiment towards your parents. To be poor or rich is not a criteria for good living. Although we have to face a great deal of challenges in our day-to-day life for existence still it is the challenge that we accept daily work and perform in a consistently and persistently by a degree of ethical manner, elevates us in a good human being. So I can say that good living and mental peace are not related with being poor or rich.

I think i'm part of poor society even now.I cann't buy the things i like best, even have no enough money to pay for the bill now,let alone pay the down payment of a small house. In fact i work hard everyday and be blamed by manage or customers,I don't think my ability is so weak. I always make daydreaming, one day i can become billionaire, then i will buy a yacht to travel the world.

Sometimes i consider myself to be part of poor and sometimes to be middle class family. For example, when i live among the rich men i'll feel very poor and when i live in the poor men i will feel i am a middle class one.

Unfortunately, I am in a similar situation, except my relatives are a bunch of mean people, even to those who seem to help 'em out with money/rent, etc

when you look at a person who is more rich than you. then obviously you would feel that you are of a weaker society.it depends on how those people treat you

I guess my family is part of the middle class society however, we aren't really as well off as many people assume we are. We have a lot of health problems going on in the family right now that's taking up a lot of the income. We have a huge house which is hard to provide for with everything going on. We have a lot of unexpected things popping up too. So, we do have nessecities, we sometimes get the things that we want, but I often give up on a lot of the things that I want to make sure that we have the things that we need. Hardly anyone else does though.

I don't how you describe my family's level in our society. We have homes and we survive for everydays life, but we can't save because money that we have are just ok for paying our bills. We needed other sources of income or passive income in order to save for the future.

I wouldn't consider my family as part of the poor society but I do consider myself to be one hehehe.. You see, I can barely sustain myself, yet alone sustain a family, but since I'm still single and I'm under my parents roof, then I would consider myself fortunate enough. But yeah, I do consider myself part of the poor society.

I am REALLY poor. I couldn't even begin to tell you how poor I am, however, you have to keep in mind that no matter how bad you have it, someone else out there always has it worse. As long as have a roof over my head, utilities, clothes, and food for my kids and me, and a small luxury here and there, I am satisfied. Since I have never had the good things in life, I don't miss it. I am happy to just have my health and my kids. Sure, sometimes I see people with nice cars and lots of money and I wish that I could be in their shoes, but money brings a whole new set of problems. Have a nice evening. ~Love

I grew up in a pretty poor family, as well. Sometimes depending on the food pantry for meals. My family now consists of my hubby and I both working and raising 4 kids. The numbers would show us to be middle class, but in today's economy, it sure doesn't feel that way! We struggle, just like so many other families out there, but we have a home and the kids have what they need and, when possible, what they want. Each of our kids understand that times are tough right now, especially with my husband's company laying off every other week...so we are all tightening our belts and trudging through!

I also consider ours as poor family. I'm just lucky to have a good parents that gives me enough to experience things that rich kids have experienced. I consider my family to be poor because their are times that we really have a financial problems. I think in the 80's we can consider our family as middle class but than again, since we have all this financial crisis and my parents were already retired, we are already in below average. :)
