Can you seriously commit Facebook Suicide?

When you delete your Facebook account i've heard that some people refer to it as Facebook Suicide. Is this true? Is there other names people have for it?
It does seem like if you've got hundreds of friends and then all of a sudden you're gone that alot of people may start grieving, but seriously Facebook Suicide?
Who knew?

that's one of the weirdest thing to hear, maybe true for whackos who sit online on facebook 20 hours a day. seriously some people need to get a life outside of such social networks.
and you cannot delete facbook accounts, you can disable it temporarily and the account can be restored whenever you want.
