Mylot is so unfair?

I would say you need to contact Mylot admins and ask about this issue. Complaining to others before you know who is responsible for the problem isn't the right way to go about solving the issue. I am sure Mylot will help you out. Once you reach a certain point you will be able to copy and paste. Even though I can copy and paste and remember itching to be able to copy and paste before I had enough posts created I have never done it. It was only because I wasn't allowed to that made me want to. :) If you are having an issue with being logged out try this until Mylot gets you fixed up. Open a second tab in your browser and use that window to keep logged in. Then when you get back to your other window you can continue typing without being logged out. Just be sure you use the other window to keep logged in.

I have once encountered that log out problem and that was during the time mylot has changed into a new format but other than that i never have problem at all. I just clear out my cookies and cache and it solve the problem. Some website i know like the one free site i used in my blog i always had this log out problem when i do my writings. The problem happens when i write an article on the site and of course it will take me time to finish it and by the time i am finish and about to send, that's when i am directed to homepage log in. Phew! its frustrating but i learned how to deal with it. I write it first on wordpad and just copy it to my blog entry. I think some site have this automatic log out when you are idle for a certain time. I just don't know if mylot task has this feature but as of this very moment i was thinking maybe they have as that task is writing job. Anyway i hope you will resolve your mylot problem very soon. I don't even understand the task thing at all I don't understand what they want me to do or why it is a waste of my time. I think it is geared toward younger folks not people in their 60's

dont worry there are still lots of tasks in these days , i hope you can win in the following tasks , post as much as you can ,you must have 500 posts in order to paste something

Hi anuraa32, Well that's certainly sad with whats happening with you.......its not the case with me though......I have a different problem......whenever I respond to discussions or start one of my own it gets stuck up in between and I have to refresh the page......and I end up typing the whole things again.....it is really very irritating wen this happens......i guess its a server problem and it should be fine...... Well looking at your problem, I feel that as far as the tasks are concerned you are allowed to copy and paste even though you have not completed 500 posts.......you can do one thing don't type it on the tasks directly.....just type it in word or something and then copy and paste it.....it works for me though....still just try it before you type the entire thing.......and these guidelines of copy and paste are mentioned in the task description as well......so don't worry even if you get logged out....just log-in again and copy and paste it....... i don't think mylot is being unfair... i think it has to do with your computer... i experienced that before as well... i keep on being log off from mylot every now and then and i know how frustrating that can be... so what i did was i change my browser from internet explorer to firefox and i am fine now... good luck... take care and have a nice day...

Unfortunately you cannot copy and paste on mylot until you have ( I believe ) 500 posts. It can be frustrating, but I suppose it is necessary as many new members were copying and pasting other peoples discussions or using it to cheat mylot. It is inconvenient especially when you are doing tasks, but now you know the reason for it. I have had my replies disappear before and it is very irritating to have to retype a reply, especially long ones. Are you using dial up internet? My problem stopped when I got high speed internet. As for the logging out problem, I have never experienced this.

I ahven't experienced this so far in my more than two years that I have been here. Maybe there is a problem with your internet connection.

Hi anuraa and welcome to myLot. I have no problems at all and I do not get logged out ever. I do not even log out when I shut down my computer at the end of the day. I assume you are using your own computer at home like me. I have not ticked the box where it asks if the computer is a public one. I only tick that when I am on from somewhere else outside my home nad in that case I get logged out when I close the page.

I can understand your difficulty. But You cannot say that mylot is solely responsible for this problem. Logging out every 5 minutes may be a problem due to some other reasons like your browser or something else. So the only solution is that before writing your content, first prepare your notes in a notepad and save it. SO even after this problem, you can type everything without remembering from start.

i met this situation too.sometimes i didnt copy or paste,mylot wipe my context too.said i was cut.but i didnt do that even.i dont know why.so can we use some english input software like sougou?will mylot think i am using cuting?we are newly here.hope to be more familia with mylot some time later.as we are not living in the english-speaking country.so we can not wright in english very fluently.hope to be proved.but we can not say mylot is unfare.it is the best way to keep mylot be more efficient?right?we have no choice ot chose.
