In Europe if you want to get worst food go to a restaurant of London. If your pocket is heavy go to Paris. There you can relax and enjoy. But don't go to Brussels. There life is very dull. A study made by Trip Adviser website on 400 people who traveled Europe. Most of the travelers opinion is London the capital of UK is nastiest city of Europe. There dresses of the people are very dirty. There cost of living is very high. But there is no comparison in Europe of London's night life and large parks.Paris has a fame for art and culture. But according to the travelers there is no sincerity among the people of Paris. But they are well dressed and there are many high graded restaurant.

If I were going to pick a country to visit again where the people were clean, kind and made it a joy for me, I would say Italy... anywhere in Italy. What a joy our month-long visit was there last summer (2008) and I would go again. The food was great and if you did not go the high tourist areas, prices were not bad. Of course, the US dollar was higher there, $1.60 to their 1 Euro, but we found ways to cut back on some costs by renting apartments instead of staying in hotels, where we had a kitchen and rent was lower, we could share with others and make much of our own food.

nanajanet, Yours are the kind of comments that show good will. And I feel the world needs a lot of that. Thanks for your kind and accurate words!

I'd agree with this comment. I've been to Italy three times and to most other European countries as well. Italy is the only one that I'd look forwards to returning to. I've been to Spain three times as well, but on my last visit there I had my passport, camera and most of my money stolen in Barcelona. As a result of that experience, I have no intention of visiting that country again.

I am a contributor to Trip Advisor Bhansusb. I have to say that the comments that you make above are very subjective. However, London has the worst and the best restaurants in Europe - as does Paris and Brussels. London is actually quite clean these days - but nowhere near as clean as any Swiss city. The cost of living in the UK is ridiculously high, yet you can fins some of the cheapest prices for food and clothing here. In truth it is entirely how you find a place that matters. One thing that I would say though. UK hotels are ludicrously expensive. But people pay the prices and one has to wonder why!

I have a special fascination for London, once the capital of British empire who ruled the Indian sub-continent for about 250 years.I want to see the British people, their culture and heritage. India is a very old civilized country. 2500 years ago Lord Buddha denied the God.At that time how dare he was. The British must had some thing that dominated over India.I think there are two characters of London. One is new and other is old. There should be eyes to see the two characteristics of London. In my opinion London has a special place in Europe.

I used to work in London. I know it is a huge city that very busy and expensive. Paris is more beautiful but it is no cheaper. I didn't find Brussels quite as interesting as London or Paris. Many people in London dress in a dull way and in Paris many people look superbly dressed. The nightlife in London is great with all the pubs and night clubs. My favorite cities in Europe are Prague, Budapest, Dubrovnik, Salzburg, Istanbul and Lisbon. I didn't like Bratislava very much when I went there. Small cities are often more pleasant to visit like gorgeous Brasov or charming Cesky kromlov that large cities.

Naples was the dirtiest city I've ever been to. Paris was the rudest. San jose, Costa Rica was the most gracious.

i just laugh when you say some cities in europe are very dirty, come to africa and see the dirtiest and the nastiest streets you can every find in this planet. even johannesburg is not as clean as i think and sometimes places like Pretoria and Capetown may look the best and neatest in the world. london has one of the biggest concentrations of different races, and tribes in the world, so what do you expect, a very dirty city
