I am sure that you had bad moments when you was nervious and "fight" with your computer. Moments when something don t work , maybe you internet connection and lose a long discussion before to push :"start discussion", or maybe if your computer refuse work as you want. And you hit your keyboard or mouse, is easy get crazy right? Or maybe you drink a cola and your drink just in a min was to your keyboard, and of course you must buy other keyboard. Tell us how many time you buy other keyboard or mouse?

I ahve to admit that I was in a similar situation with my older laptop and I was so angry that I nearly broke the buttons in my keyboard, it was not typing and I was very furious. So I bought a new laptop now and I am okay with this one.

There was this one point that i really lost my patience that i almost smashed it because i am very pissed of. I am very annoyed of the letters that doesn't work and i couldn't really replace yet as i have no choice since i am short of money. It was nearly the end of 2008 that i was able to buy new keyboard which the one i am using right now. Well i just hope i won't face the same problem again as i wouldn't really like it. Happy mylotting.

Frankly, I've never broken any part of a computer because of frustrations or anger. I guess I still have a cool head when breaking precious things. hehe

I dont actually think I've ever gotten angry at my computer and broken my keyboard or mouse by hitting it. I have certainly worn them out or spilled things on them, though, and had to replace them. I typically go through a laptop keyboard about every 8-10 months, just from (over)use. ;) Right now, I'm actually typing on an external keyboard plugged into the laptop because my cat managed to kock about half a gallon (literally--it was in a gallon jug)of water onto my computer and while I managed to kill it before anything else was damaged, the keyboard has about 10 nonworking keys, and I'm waiting on the Dell rep to come repair it. I swear, Dell warranties are worth their weight in gold, particularly the accidental damage ones.

Hello icesmile, I have been using the same desktop since 10 years ago. Everything is still alright. I changed the mouse once and I am still using the same keyboard. My husband spends most of his time in the computer room and he won't let me touch anything while he is inside. We don't bring food into the computer room too. That is one of the rules that I set for him

I've never gotten mad enough at my computer to break my keyboard or anything, I've replaced it once because we used it so much that all the letters were rubbing off the keys, I used a black marker and tried to go over the letters it worked for a little while, but then it started rubbing off, so I had to go and buy another keyboard. My husband doesn't know how to type so he couldn't find his letters..lol. The one we're using now is starting to do that, the s,l,n,and m are rubbing off..ha.

I actually haven't broken either yet, which is a great surprise to me because they sure have taken a beating. My keyboard does make a rattling sound, but it works just fine.

Never, not once. I always keep my cool especially in this type of situations and I always try to find out whats wrong. I always keep in mind that the computer is as intelligent as the user. So when something is not working properly I try to find out whats wrong with it. But I can't deny of course when I am really really in a bad mood and hit something. But I always make it a point that not the computer and it's peripherals. Ha ha!

i never break a keyboard or mouse before and i haven't have to buy a new one until now... mine is already 5 years old and still doing really well because i take good care of my goods... i always remind myself that i bought that stuffs with my hard-earned money... so i have to take care of it properly so i won't waste my money to replace it if it is broken... take care and have a nice day...

I find it embarrassing to answer this question, but I have had to change my keyboard many times, because one could no longer read the letters on them! But I have also had to change my computer too, as I spilt some Baileys on it and ruined it completely! Now I have a new Mac, so I am more careful and hope that it is more sturdy, so the letters don't disappear on me!

I have never had to buy a new keyboard. I have bought a few different types of mouse but it was not because they were broken but just looking for one that I was really comfortable with. Now I have a wireless one which is just perfect for me.

I am a rather boring person. I only have had one keyboard and two mice. A high school acquaintance of mine has a pretty good record for keyboards and mice. In a three year period he went through 60 keyboards and 150 mice. He had a BAD temper and would grab whatever was handy and break it. I would stop by his house once a week and find mice and keyboard parts all over the house. He went through two whole computers in one week. One he had just bought and he kicked the daylights out of it. The second one was one that I had replaced after using it for a couple of years. He actually picked it up, hoisted it over his head and crashed it down on the floor. (it worked up to that point.) Needless to say, with the kind of temper the guy had, I stopped visiting him...

I have never broken a key board or mouse. I have also never experienced computer problems you have discribed. I have taked i zip lock bag and cut and taped it to cover my keyboard so there is no chance of spilling stuff on it.
