trade on alibaba international site

I am now work in a small foreign trade company, and in charge of the foreign trade on alibaba international website, but i knew little about that even trade. So 2 months passed and I don't even have on business come true. I felt so sorry,cause the boss trust me. so is anybody here can help me how to do?

Alibaba has alot of useful feature for both sellers and buyers. You should create your profile there with showing your company details in order to make other people know about your business. If you are a seller, you can promote your products there in their classification. But if you are a buyer, please choose to buy from reputable sellers. I have read on some forum and mailing list, they said some people cheating on alibaba. They offer some interesting products but when you buy from them and after you send the money, they never ship the products to you. I hope you can find your success there.
