Do you like your job?

a few years back I'm also like you, "I hate this job, but I need to live" right ? at that time I decide to go and get a rash decision, I quit, I found a new job completely unrelated to what I do before, and start a new life, the result ? my life is a mess, I've never regretted quitting my old job tough, what I regret is why should I go to other town just for a new job. the feeling of loneliness is somewhat unbearable, so I quit my "new" job and back to my town, but this time I'm more prepared than before, when I go back I already have a plan for my life, what should I do, and I shouldn't. now I'm living a happy life, to be more exact I'm content with my current life. what I want to say is : don't be like me, that was a foolish decision, I was young and I was a fool, it's true. just think it over, if you ever want to quit your job, at least you need a solid plan for your life, so you wont regret it like me.

Hi sunflower and welcome to mylot! It's funny - I do like my job - it's the people around me who are making my life miserable. And you and I are in the same boat - I need the salary to maintain my life.

Presently I am mentoring Mathematics to students to earn a living. This is just a parttime job about 15 hours to twenty hours a week but it is my bread and butter. I like this job a lot for I am doing this for more than ten years. I used to work in the office but I got bored and I quit because I cannot stand the boredom anymore. I like my job because I am a great help to many students particularly students who are weak in Math.

I work in one of learning centre in my town and I can say that I don't like my current job at all. Actually my boss hiring me as administration staff, but she ask me to do many thing with a very low salary. She ask me to do customer service job, secretary, phone operator, librarian and even ask me to take care about the teacher attendance and lateness. What a crazy boss.. I hate my job. hiks.. T.T

I don't know why people can hate their current job whereas they never expecting to got fired from their job. I think it's just a human nature. Nobody's will satisfy with what they have. I love my job very much. Everyday i have alot of thing to do. I'm a construction consultant in a contractor company. I'm a bachelor of civil engineering. So my job match with my academic skill. I'm also a course teacher of some elementary student as my part time job. I love children so i can enjoy my part time job. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

Now I am do the same thing as you, for some reasons I have to go on the present job but not interesting in it. Before this I want to find a job fit my interest, but always be rejected of no experience enough, and I have to make a living. Now I want resign the present but canot get action right now, because I should pay for the credit card.

Nope I cant say that I like my job. I wish I had a better job the job that I have is just to tough for me and makes me to stressed out. At least it has been for the past couple of months ive hated my job more. I work at a grocery store and im the only guy there wich for some reason I have to have more responsibility like going out side to do carts wich can be hell when its full or taking out the trash then bagging. And I should get a raise but doubt theyll give me one. Plus because of that job my shoulder got swollen. So Im looking for a better and easier job that I like to go to everyday and dont make up excuses of why I cant come in.
