I have one on my bulletin board in front of me. Today I flipped it to the current month after not noticing that it was still back in March....I hardly use it. I have two daily planners in my desk drawer that I use to record my future plans. There is always some place on tv or the computer that gives you the date and time. I recieved about four calendars this year but have only one up.....so do you still use a calendar on your wall?

I use several calenders. One is on the bulletin board with all my appointments for doctors, physio, surgeon visits etc. It does help out alot with keeping track of appointments. I do have one on my wall that is used for spa treatments like nails, hair, massages etc. Those seem to fill up just as much as the one on my bullentin board. I have one out at my fiances place so when I am out there I know when I have to be back for appointments. I also carry a portable calender/agenda book with me at all times that have all of my appointments. So that is that one that is combined with all of them. I never used to use calenders the way that I have in the last 3 years. But now it's a different story.

Yes I have a calendar on the wall and I write down all the activities that are going on for the month for all of us in the family. This way I have a better ability to know what everyone is doing and not to double book events. LOL It is near the phone for quick access if someone calls.

I haven't used one of those in many years now. I guess they are convenient in that you get to have a quick glance as to what is going on and what your plans are. Still, I love technology and I'm relying more and more on my computer to record dates and things. Some calanders are very nice with the pictures that they contain, the page 3 girl calanders are quite nice!!!! Andrew

I do have a wall calender but it's not something I write activities on or anything like that. It just hangs. I'm pretty good at flipping the months though, I hardly ever go long without changing it.

That's nice. That means, you use to keep calendar with you wherever you go. But in different forms. Right?
Some people are forced to do that. Because they might have busy schedule all day. So this is a great thing for us to follow in order to remind them and thus reduce their stress and strain.

I was keeping a calendar in my purse because so I could keep up with appointments. I had a grand daughter that had alot of doctors appointments and the only way we could remember when she had an appointment and not schedule another appointment on the same day by keeping a calendar in my purse.

Hello Sharlahhodges
That is really neat, that you have a decrotive calender.
A few months ago I have downloaded ,some calender pages off line, and I added some pretty ribbon just to dress my wall calender up a little.
Thanks for sharing about your calender.

I have a calendar that has a magnet on the back. Just happen to have an old, small file folder that sits on the top shelf of the computer and it's metal. So the calendar is attached. I use it daily. Am back to work just one day a week and each week is different day. Also am babysitting 2-3 days a week for our grandbaby and those days and times vary. If I didn't have a calendar, I'd lose my mind. A daily planner doesn't work as well for me.

Yeah I understand. We have two books at home, very thick volume both of them and mom had covered them with two pages from a calendar dated 1979...the pages are thick and glossy and has beautiful pix of birds and even after all these years, they colour's just so vivid and the best part is that I love looking those pix, I become very nostalgic and maudlin sort of...in '79 I was just 7yrs old and memory's not too sharp but I just try and recall those times

Yes, I do. It's on a wall in my kitchen. I generally use it only to mark my doctor appointments. I have so many that I need some way to keep them straight. But I also mark birthdays of family and friends, so I guess it helps me with that too. It is a Chihuahua calendar. Of course it is in honor of my Sherlock who is 3/4 Chihuahua.

I haven't used a wall calendar as a wall calendar in a few years. I will get one because of the pictures and i would write in it all the great things that happened that year. But since 2006, I just get a small calendar to write in. But I didn't write in my 2008. I guess I really don't need a huge wall calendar just a small one.

I have one wall calendar that hangs in my kitchen, within a short distance of the phone. The lives of my boys and I are on it, and it's very current and up to date. It got to the point that I needed to buy a second calendar, to carry in my purse, so that I could keep better track of everything. On an almost daily basis, I'll put the two calendars side by side, and make sure they have the same info on them.

we do here at home because we write down everything that is going on, especially drs appts and that sort of thing. i have a paper one in my purse that i use too plus one at work. in the newer 'outlook' mail programs, you can set up a caleder, but we have an old one at home, but we do use that at work.

I still use wall calender. It's easier to check the date that way. We also have lots of wall calender hanging in the house, there's one with pictures of cats on the tv. I also have a planner diary that I carry around. I use it to mark all important dates that I need to remember. I guess I am not so high technology and used palm pc or whatever for that purpose.

My mom loves using them. We always receive wall calendars as gift from the different stores we always went to. They always hand us out this gift during christmas and with that, we always have many wall calendars that we used to hang around our house. And right now, i am having that wall calendar on my side.
We prefer using this one, for us to directly know the dates and the day. But we have personal planners too.
