What are you drinking, my friend?

Drinks on me tonight......
What can I buy you?
Don't drink? Pull up a stool and have a good chat instead. I'm likely not drinking tonight either. Doesn't mix well with sinus medication.
So, what is your drink of choice?
Or, what can we chat about tonight?
Thanks for being here. I love time well spent with a friend.

Never had vanilla vodka. I'll bet it is good. Hope you have a great time with your friend.

Oh, I'm late. I would have liked a large gin and tonic. with lots of ice and tonic and something to put my feet on so that I could really relax. I hope that you live somewhere warm so we could sit on a patio and look at the stars ans the moon and chat idleness. Oh, there should be much laughter too. Beware though - if I have two drinbks (my limit) I may become giggly and laugh a LOT!

Hmmmmmmmmm. I'll start with a dry martini thanks and I'll have two olives in it so I can also get out of having to buy a meal later. After the martini, I'd like to move on to Absinthe or Pernot which I can sip throughout the evening while crapping on like I usually do. Somewhere in between, I guess I should order a fruity cocktail so I can at least let ya eat the fruit pieces and play with the umbrella. But then again, you did say "likely not drinking" which isn't a definite no, so I'm sure I'll have you knocking back the martini's, Absinthe and Pernot with me in no time at all. Peer pressure!
The discussion topics can be about whatever the heck you like really. I'll just make up shite for the stuff I don't know well, so it's all good! lol.

I'd likely succumb to your peer preasure with all the shite you'd be shoveling. Excuse me while I go find a non-drinking friend who'll make sure I get home.

Only the best for you, James.
How tall/big are you? Will these non-drinking friends be carrying you out of here?

I'll have a Dr.Pepper pop with 3 ice cubes please! Honestly I think I "grew out of" my drinking days. I drank quite a lot in my teens and twenties, but once I hit 30 I think I realized life's not a party anymore. Having kids will do that to a person as well ... my daughter will be 3 in June, and I am expecting new baby in October!

I was never a big partier myself, but yes, having kids WILL do that to you.
My mom remembers coming home from a night out with dad after having a few too many, and my sister who was only months old needed her. No one would let her hold the baby and she never drank again.

Congratulations PurpleTeddyBear! I'm with you, I also drank enough to last a lifetime in my teens and twenties and I think I simply grew out of it. A Dr. Pepper will be fine for me as well. All the fun of drinking kind of dried up for me as I approached thirty as well and now that I'm a mommy there is really no point in it for me anymore. I like Dr. Pepper with ice and a straw, even though it is just soda, it still feels kind of festive!

Iced tea and coffee sound great, shall I bake a cake? I just learned a recipe for a dessert I tasted 30 years ago and never forgot, a pineapple upside down crumb cake. I had it as a child ONCE and never got it again. I FINALLY found my old neighbors online and got the recipe - it was worth the wait!

My drink of choice is always tea. Chat's are always good. I chat with a friend regularly and most of the time what we say is nonsense but we enjoy it.

Sometimes I like to go to the bar and have a spicy ceasar, or a Manhattan, but most of the time I like to go to my favourite coffee shop nad order a mocha latte with extra whipped cream and chocolate curls on top. Yummy!!! As a matter of fact, when I'm done work for the day, I'm headed straight to the coffee shop.

Hey pots! I'll gave a Diet Coke, no lemon thanks! And we can
talk about anything you like! I'd prefer anything, but politics!
We can talk about your adorable little one! I love to hear stories
about childrens antics! Or whatever else you would like! Don't let
me talk because I have too much negative stuff going on and I'd
much rather keep the conversation going light and enjoyable!
So we can let you start and go from there! So what will it
be, you start!

I imagine we would laugh a lot.

I am drinking water, which does go well with sinus medication.I got a report today on my cholesterol screening and I am not a happy camper. I managed to resist buying pop when I checked out a Wal Mart. I think my kidneys have been asking for more water,as well. It is the whole thing, more water, fewer calories, happier body. I hope you have a lovely chat and that your sinuses get better soon.

I with you, my friend. I could stand to drink a lot more water myself. I would probably make the sinus trouble I have a little more tolerable. Two cold waters and some great chat, coming right up.

Bailey and kahlua, first two things came up when I read your discussion
I wouldn't mind tea or orange juice if you have any though
I want to chat about hopes and dreams that do not die
great times we had and hard times we've been through
friends and dear ones we have found and lost
I want to chat about who we really are and not what money has made us do
cheers

Good morning...and as for last nite, really enjoyed the warm fireplace (as it was cold & drizzly out there) and the McEwans Strong ale (room temp) which I have a bottle of, about once every two months! I found the conversation about Monsato & Monrovia genetically modifying all of our plants rather stimulating, as I am so pi$$ed at these two giants (owned by oil majors) controlling our lives, and suing us for being seed savers! Resolved nothing, but enjoyed "airing" it out! Loved the evening at the "Potty" Inn! Cheers! And thanks for footing the bill!

Vastly enjoyed myself...I think that we should make this a regular monthly nite out! And I will invite all my "cyber" friends to my home on Galiano, in the Southern Gulf Islands off the coast of B.C. Just for a change of environment, and we will make it a beach party...to watch the wonderful sunset off Montague Harbour! And breath in the fresh ocean air! Once again, thanks for the stimulating evening! Cheers!

I'm a fan of white russians, or just about anything with Kalhua. Actually just straight Kalhua and cream would be fine by me.
I shouldn't drink tonight though. I'll be doing plenty of drinking this weekend when I go off to visit a friend in Ottawa. But also I shouldn't drink because I do have a lot on my mind, and it may all come spilling out in an emotional upheaving, and I certainly wouldn't want to be around me when that happens! Hopefully these things will calm down soon so I can stop being so emotional over them, but I don't see that happening just yet.

The trip was very nice. I was waited on hand and foot all weekend by my friend who's gift to me was an attempted break from handling the children. It didn't work out so well, and one of the kids was actually misbehaving all weekend long!! But it was still a great weekend.

Hi makingpots, we’ve not met before but I'll gladly share a chat and a diet coke. I know that sound boring but that's all I can cope with at the moment. I don't mind a Margarita (or two) when I'm in the mood; my sister makes a mean Margarita. I had Christmas lunch at my house last year and my mum gave my sister a blender which my sis promptly pulled out of its box and with it proceeded to make margaritas for everyone. Nice day was had by all! (I think...)
