I left my car in Florida when I moved here in 1997 so I have been walking ever since. Not the power walk kind of walk, and my weight probably could use a little acceleration. I just never put a plan into effect.
I would hate to think how much I would weigh if I had a car.

You think Jogging is better, I don't know about that I might have a heart-attack, I am at that age now, where it can happen.

For at least 1/2 hour, Which means 1/2 hour equals 2 miles. I think All I know is I usually walk for 1/2 hour. 4 laps around the track is 2 miles. and it takes 1/2 hour.

Be Careful Dear! Have anice weekend! I wnt to do some walking tody. But I don't dare walk in the Neighborhood. we will be moving to a nicer Area, so I won't mind walking, Right now I will use my Husbands Truck and go to the Park and walk, or the track.

I've never been one to do a long of walking. Being physically challenged, it's not exactly easy. I am able to walk from the bus stop to the coffee shop and back, so that's a bit of walking, and today I walked around the mall a little bit, so I walk when I can.

I used to go walking with a neighbor last year during the summer.
It was hard because I had to leave my kids home by themselves to do it so I did not do it that often.
We would be gone at least 30 minutes.
I don't plan on walking this summer because my kids don't like to be home by themselves and they prefer to go with me.
I don't want to drag them. I did that once and they slowed me down plus I couldn't talk to my neighbor.
I am with my kids all day and I need a break. I need to be able to have an adult conversation without them tagging along.
Sometimes I ride my bike. Not enough to lose weight though.

I walk practically everywhere anymore. I'm in college on a rather large campus so to get anywhere on campus you either have to walk to class or walk to the transportation to get to class. I do both so I walk quite a bit five times a week. I don't get a lot of walking in on weekends but I think I walk enough otherwise.

I walk every day. I did not walk today that is not outside, but I did a lot of walking from the computer room to the basement, from the basement to the computer room, and back and forth because we have to get the baseboards done. Yesterday, I went to the Mall and to Home Outfitters to get some bedsheets. Tomorrow I am expecting company but do not know when she is coming, because I was planning to take some old clothes to Value Village. And that will be another walk. Today it was rather cool and there is a chance of snow, so hope it gets better so I can do more walking.

There tend to be heavy downpours with lightning in the middle of the night where I live and in the morning when I woke up it was usually very cooling, which was conducive for a morning walk near my home or in public parks. I try to walk in the evening also. In the parks, you get to smell the fragrance of the flowers, which many tropical flowers bloom during Apr to May and the air is refreshing. Walking is in fact the best exercise, it is simple and enjoyable. I admire your determination to walk 3 times a day. I do walk some distances to my office and from office back home but it cannot be compared to casual walking when you don't have to work. Do you walk after a day's work? Enjoy walking!

Well to tell you the truth I have been buzy packing, because I will be moving real soon, but where I will be living, the neighbr is much more safer, so I can walk whenever. It makes you feel good to move, it kind of motivate your brain, and makes you thnk better, you agree?

It must be very tiring and tedious to move house! Everyone has some degree of laziness but as long as you're determined to do something, you'll find the time to do it. Wish you a smooth move and hope you get a better place! Be careful not to hurt yourself while packing and moving, take care.

The weather is getting to be pretty nice where I live. The only thing is that it's been stormy and rainy a lot lately as well. But fortunately we have had some good weather here and there when it's actually not raining. I've gotten back to walking again at the park more often since it's warm now. When I go walk I try to walk at least two laps around the track at a local park. Sometimes I just walk one though.
