Wrigleys's Orbit chewing gum comes with the chemical which helps fight tooth decay as the package states. It is also sugar free. Some of the variety helps in tooth whitening as well!I am not a regular consumer of chewing gums.
But when i buy one i consciously or unconsciously go for Orbit as it is sugarfree and fights tooth decay.
Do you eat chewing gums just for pleasure or these facts matter to you?
Do you think it really helps fight tooth decay? did you ever notice teeth whitening with regular use of this gum?Any doctors on Mylot who would like to comment?

Can confirm this chewing gum really does help...infact a couple of years ago my dentist recommended I use it as it contains Xylitol which is similar to the chemical found in mouthwash. It's definately worth using after meals and snacks and I must admit I dramatically saw a difference in the health of my teeth and gums after using it.

I'm not really crazy about chewing gums, but if it helps the gums,i'll surely go in for it!
So do you still chew it?

Yeah infact I only just used a tab of it after breakfast this morning. But one word of warning...don't leave the packet lying around too long try and use them within three of four days otherwise they tend to go soft and sticky...perhaps this is down to it containing Xylitol.

IF you read the question properly, i'm not referrring to any normal chewing gum but to a specific product from wrigley's called as Orbit.
It has chemicals to fight tooth decay and some variety has tooth whitening chemical as well!!!
Please read the question well before your answer.
Dont respond for the sake of response!!!

I like to chew gum but don't do it often I never thought of it as it would be good for you even if it says it helps prevent tooth decay.

What most all of gum has in it, not just the sugar free types is a chemical that will kill you. ASPARTAME. It is hidden by useing a number of different names. It is extremely dangerous. It is highly addictive, and it also is a serious health problem for diabetics because it triggers insulin in many people just like sugar. It has killed and maimed thousands upon thousands around the world. Don't be fooled. You can read up on it by looking up Dr. Betty Martini's site. She has dedicated her life to this insidious chemical.
I was a victim, and I could go on all day about what I went through...but I just don't want anyone else fooled into damaging their health. Read the ingredients in all processed food. I found it even in electrolite fluids for children.
