Why is throat infection not curing without taking antibiotics ?

thistledown If the antibiotic stops the sore throat, then it is probably a bad infection. Even though it isn't good to always give antibiotics, if it is a strep (sp?) infection and you don't give the antibiotics it can infect the heart and that can cause serious heart...
