I recently read on Oprah Winfrey.com that she is not in any related to Acai berry diet that is publicly being promoted or is Dr. Oz She states that people from her team are actively enagaging in all the false advertising done using her name with regard to this diet. I myself tried the stuff and was sick for two days; Possible allergic reaction..During the illness I believe I succeeded in shedding a few pounds. Well. I want to know ..what is the mylot census opinion. There are so many fads .of health drinks. Every supplement I ever saw advertised always added "if taken with proper diet and exercise" So, could it be the real weight loss system is the one tha doesn't cost a penny: diet and exercise and all these health nuts take the free and make money on it?

hey there!! i have never tried this "diet" but i did try the madal bal syrup diet and it worked the only thing i have to say about these types of diets is that you have to really have strong will power unless of course its just a scam me myself cannot diet and stick to it without some sort of appitite suppresant i know its not good for you but i guess i just dont have the will to do it alone i cant really comment on the akai berry thing cos i havnt tried it but it doesnt really appeal to me in any way

You can always comment your opinion; and hey, for not having tried it you managed to come up with 4 lines of why you don't think you should not comment; which is pretty cool.

The real Acai berries are very high in nutrition and very good for you, but in my opinion, any diet drink, supplement etc. is just a way to separate you from your hard earned money. Nothing can take the place of proper nutrition and exercise. You need to read up on "proper nutrition". Many people want you to go on a no fat diet, a no or low carb diet, this diet, that diet, another diet. Bottom line, eat plenty of fresh veggies and fruits, little meat, medium amount of fish, whole grains and read labels. Try to cut out all forms of additives and preservatives. Be sure to eat breakfast and eat small healthy meals several times a day, and MOVE IT! Get plenty of exercise. You won't see dramatic weight loss, you'll see a healthier you gradually shaping up into a thinner you.

My sister takes an acai berry and other berry combination drink. I don't remember the name of the product right now. I don't know about for a diet, but this particular product is a great anti inflamatory. My sis has degenerative spine disease. The first week she started taking this, she could sleep through the night for the first time in years. And it has continued to help even during the day naturally, but lack of sleep due to the pain was a major problem and it REALLY does the trick. She did a test and quit for a couple months and the pain started to increase slowly. The first night it woke her up again, she went right back to the juice and hasn't quit since. And it could be that you could get the same results from a concentrated form of blueberry or maybe a combination, but someone started with the acai and because it is harder to get and doesn't grow in everyones backyard...they have made a business out of it.

I think all dark berries do such things .and I agree the fact that this berry is a stranger to americans ..people run after it as if it's a cure all. .there are probably all kinds of healing remedies all around us that our free only we don't know it..The Indians knew which plans and herbs etc ..berries, fruits did what..we have gotten too attached to instant cures..so we look for it in bottles and pills etc.

I have seen many Acai berry diets in the form of a drink or powder that is being sold on the internet. I believe that all of these are a scam of some form to just take a persons money and in return show no or very little results. Acai berries however in it's pure form has many health benefits and one of them being that they are very high in it's antioxidant properties. In my opinion and I strongly believe that nothing can replace eating well proportioned healthy meals and also regular exercise in order to lose weight.

I agree with you 100 % and that's what it boils down to ..people take any berry and mix it with diet and exercise and they have everyone spending hundreds on these drinks and pills and it's the exercise that does the job..it's free.
