Yes, I think everyone is a computer user, because to get along with out it is almost impossible nowadays. Well If you really think about kids have to get their homework done on it, if you want something special for that special person, you usuall have to look on line because some places around do not have the appropriate stores to get them. Also it helps people to communicate with others especially if they are across the ocean. Lol I could go on forever but hey everyones knows that everyone uses computers

Hi med889!
Hi I've found your question pretty interesting! And you know what I found from researching?..
Everyone is a computer user.
Since there are different types of computer, basically it's the common term that we use for our PC's.. We can also call the things like abacus, calculator, brain*.. For me, I consider brain as a "super-computer" since it can function more efficiently than a computer processor. Human brain can process 40MIPS(million instructions per second)at 20W.. It's obvious that we can compute simple maths with our brain alone.. So here's the logic..
Every person has a brain.
Brain is a computer.
Every person uses his brain.
Therefore, everyone is a computer user.
But if you mean computer as an electronic device, my answer is "no."
Not everyone has a computer..
That's all I can say with your simple but meaningful discussion..

Perhaps in most of North America (except Mexico), Japan, and almost all of Europe, everyone 5 to 35 at least knows how to use the computer.
But aside from that, very few people actually know how to use computers.
I think.
I know this for sure: My dad and my mom are virtually computer illiterate. I have to help them with so MANY things.

I think there are those whom still do not know how to use the computer and it's mainly the slightly elderly people. My mom, for one doesn't know how to use a computer, and I'm trying to teach her bit by bit; she's doing quite well, progressing..

Oddly, not so..I'm surprised by the number of folks at work who have no notion and how many had to be walked thru the application process (its all online)..On the flip-side of that, I surprise folks that I don't own a cell phone. Same notion, different perspective..
