Are you easy to get toasted?

The weather finally turns little better, it was up to 73 today which is acceptable, can be better though. I worked on the yard and painted the gate for my dog. I spent the morning and 1 hour afternoon under the sun being outside. I found I got little darker and when I scratched my shoulder, it was little sore - I got sunburnt???? But the sun was not really really strong(it is stronger) and there was no cloud, I was kinda working under the shade here and there, exposed little bit of time. I'll see if my back skin will peel off or get red. Do you get sunburnt easy? Do you like to be tanned or like to have white skin?

I don't face problems like skin peeling off even after I being under the hot sun for hours. Guess I am kind of lucky when it comes to that. I prefer to have fair or pale color skin compared to tanned color. No offend to anyone, but I feel that people with fairer skin color looks better and more decent compared to people with darker skin color. Well, that is just a personal opinion, I have got friends who have tanned color skin too, so I always get scolded by them when it comes to topics like this. ^^;;

i think so... my skin gets red really easily if i stay under the sun for too long... and i don't like to get sunburnt or tanned because it is really painful... and i am also afraid of skin cancer... so i try my very best to stay away from the sun as much as i can... take care and have a nice day...

When i go swimming it's easy for me to get toasted, and then after a weeks it get's back to each original color, but if regular day it doesn't get easily to burn.

I love sunbathing so much, though sometimes the sun would burn my skin.It is really a pleasure to bask in the sun.But if your skin is easy to be sunburt,keep the strong sun away.Because your skin may not bear the ultraviolet radiation,which can lead to skin cancer.

yeah, i get sunburnt easily. so when i'm spending the day at the beach where i'll be out in the sun a lot, what i do is to have sunblock on exposed skin. or if i don't have it, i'll just have little doses of sun so i won't get toasted a lot. i've experienced before being toasted round the back as well as my arms and legs. i fell asleep on the sand and on my stomach and thought i was under a shade. next i knew, my friend was waking me up because he got concerned that i was turning pink already. my back was definitely sore for a few days. and it was so funny having my back tanned and my front was a few shades fairer. -lol-

I have seen people done that lying down on the beac, had half of the body covered and make the body half tan half normal color, I thought it was very weird, everybody got attention on that guy :-p

I'm pretty pale and with having winter ones skin doesn't seem to handle the sudden exposure the best. I try to keep sunblock on everyone if it's before 4pm. We tend to burn fairly easily in my house. Though my hubby he will turn tan once the burn disappears. I tell him to put sunblock on but doesn't always eem to care wich kinda bugs me as both is parents have cancer and you just worry bout if he'd get it one day & in what form?

I burn very easy and do not really get a tan at all. I am not much of a sun person but when I am out in the sun, I always wear some sun block. I remember a few times where I have been sunburnt and it hurts way too much, so I have learned my lesson.

I burn really easily, but if I burn just once I tan for the rest of the season which is nice. I like to be tanned but I don't go out of my way for it.

I parked as far away from walmart as I could in their lot about an hour ago and between my walking into the store and then walking back to the car my feet are sunburned to show where my flip flop straps are. I wish it was 73 here today. It is 105 roght now, but it should be in the 70's tommorow. Back to the sunburns: I have to either not go outside or put on the highest SPF I can find or within 15 minutes I am burning. It is not fun, but it is worth it.
