Well I broke down and called my mother today to at least let the kids talk to her. My son talked to her for a while than my daughter and again my son when she asked to speak to me. Well immediately I could tell something was not right. She sounded really bad. Well I talked to her for a while and she was telling me she is in a wheelchair now and on oxygen 24 hours. And All I could think about is how much time has been wasted. She also told me that she had to go the the Cleveland clinic to a heart specialist. She has had bad heart problems every since I could remember. There were no harsh words said. And I plan on calling her back in a few days I did tell her Happy mothers day and she told me thank you. I would like for all of you who pray to pray for my mother(Kathy that's her name) I hope everything goes well. And thank you guys for caring enough! AT least I have you all to talk to. Happy Mylotting you guys and Thank you again.

I am also glad that I called her. The only thing I forgot to do is Tell her that I loved her. And I know some where deep down inside my mother does love me. I too had a feeling that I needed to call her. I am glad I did. Thanks for your warm words Tamara and Thank you for your prayer! Happy Mylotting!

Your mother needs you strength and love more than ever now. Sometimes it is very hard to tolerate us "old folks" when we get cranky or down right mean. There is usually a reason why we are the way we are. It takes a lot of love to know us.Just keep thinking about the good times you once had and pray for her and love her.

THANK YOU for a very poignant reminder that forgiveness is the gift you give yourself and that it is so important to try to have a relationship with your family, even if it means forgiving things done wrong, because our time here is short and life is precious, an uncomfortable attempt at mending fences in the family is well worth it instead of a lifetime of "I wish I had...". Bless you and your entire family, your mom will be in my thoughts and prayers, as will you. For everyone who has had a falling out with a family member, remember that even if it doesn't work out, knowing that you TRIED to build that bridge is a lot more comfortable than living with he knowledge that you didn't and then it was too late.
