What did you give your mom on Mother's Day?

I gave mine a plant.
Because when we used to receive flowers she says she's rather recieve them in a vase. And she loves gardening too, so i think that the gift we bought is perfect. The plant was huge and it was challenging thinking of the right flowering plant to give her. It was supposed to be a surprise but she told us that we were talking about our surprise with too loud voices, so she discovered it before we even had it wrapped. so much for the surprise.. but then she loves it!

Hi friend,
I and my sister together gave a cake to cut for the mother's day.It was a surprised to her.It made her very happy and she herself enjoyed a lot with it.We also felt happy by looking the happiness she got with the cake we gave.The way your gave made her feel happily i suppose.Its good to do that.Mother is someone who always care for her child.

yes, it's nice to give gifts of love to our mothers who always care for us, their children. A cake is a nice gift too, i bet she loved it.

hi, i lived far away form my home, on mother's day, i only give a call to my mother,i give me best wishing to her and her feel happy, we talk each other for twenty minuter, this is the only thing i can give it to her. this is the first i havn't stayed with my mother on this special day.

I had flowers delivered to her at work to surprise her. I wrote nice stuff on the card that I knew would make her cry. I even joked on the card about not crying because everyone was looking at her. She called me from work and said thank you and joked that it did make her cry but she was in the lunch room so no one saw her. I also gave her a card on mothers day.

Hello friend. As I am far away from where my parents live, I made a phone call to my mom wishing her Happy Mother's Day. My mom was very happy to hear my voice and it was the same with me. We talked on the phone for a few minutes. This is what I can could give to my mom.

We took her out to dinner, and I gave her a big basket full of Bath and Body Works products, she loved it, she likes things that smell good and just spent the day with her.

We never got to celebrate Mother's Day with my mom. we live in separate houses now and she was busy with her thesis defense that we never got to go out on that day. What we did to make her feel happy was to visit her that night with my son so at least she can spend the day with family. She was so happy to see us then and she was also happy to share the news that she, at last, passed/completed her Masters Degree after 14 years.

I gave my mum the latest Danielle Steele novel because she is a fan of her books and some chrysanthemums in a pot. She came over for lunch and I hope she had a nice day considering my dad does absolutely nothing for her! I am a mum too and my daughter spoiled me so a pretty good day was had by all!
You'll have to learn to plan your mum's gifts quietly next time! (LOL)

That was really sweet and thoughtful of you. I gave my mom a bouquet of flowers on Mother's Day. I also gave her a Mother's Day card and wrote a short message thanking her etc. She told me she was touched and that I am a good daughter which, in turn, made me feel touched. There were lots of hugs and kisses between us. I also treated her to dinner at a restaurant. All in all, it was a wonderful Mother's Day, especially for my mom.
