First love never dies?

Whoever coined this one, is he/she sure? No let me revise, is he/she sure, because I THINK I BELIEVE IT! Could this be a fact? Is there a Scientific/ Psychological explanation behind it? Could this be the reason why every time my heart throbs, for somebody besides HIM, my first love, I lose the feeling at once? And I always end up loving HIM more...instead. Have you ever felt this way, too? Or is it just me?

This is very common.
I have had it. I met my first love back after 10 years and I still loved him.
Even after all the pain he brought me, I still have a weak spot for him. Always will. Though I am realistic, I could never trust him. Unfortunately.
So no, it is not just you.

Sooo true... well, atleast for me. Even if we both have our own lives now, its just sooo good to reminisce and keep in touch. This person have a special spot in my heart.
Remains as someone special, its different; hard to explain, i just feel it.
Even if how many years have passed, the old flame still there, but not for the thought of having him again.
