This would depend on what your phone needs are and if you're very particular with certain features. But I would reco that you get a Nokia phone because it's user-friendly. It also has a lot of nice features now. I'd go for Noki's N-Series or E-Series phones. Phones in these product lines are the bomb!

Just like the person above said, I believe best phones are different for different people... Depends on what you're gonna use the phone for... I use my cell phone for work as well so I've gotten a cell phone with email access & internet access... I've had blackberry pearl for little over a year now... Last month, few things at my work changed & I didn't need it anymore so I've changed to a basic phone... Then I've been getting a lot of emails & a lot of the times, I couldn't get to my laptop fast enough so I changed back to blackberry pearl... I know my sister has one of the most basic phone... She talks on it, that's it... She doesn't even do text messaging... My mom's the same way... On the other hand, my girl friend does a lot of text messaging & talks on her cell phone so she went out & got a blackberry just like mine... As far as brand goes, I do hear a lot of good things about Nokia... I've used Motorola few times & I liked them as well...

Hi! I would suggest that you go for Sony Ericsson. It gives much more value for money than any other brand (especially Nokia). I feel that Nokia is an over hyped brand. I prefer the low end models from Nokia. But when it comes to high end models, Sony beats Nokia. It has much better sound quality (not volume). Much better picture quality. And a million small features which prove very helpful in the long run.
