YES!!!! I make typos!

When I read your discussion with the image you have posted as avatar, I got confused, are you complaining of laughing at those who has PHD in mylot English spelling. Well, I guess you are laughing on them. As for the discussion, I will never ever complain about spelling at mylot because my English is horrible and I am quite thankful to my friends that they can read me and even can understand me. I appreiciate their hard work. For those who don't like my spelling or Grammer, I would say thank you very much for your reply and I would like to know the errors I have made, so that I wouldn't now commit any errors in future.

Hello, In my opinion,If you can understand what the person is saying, why take the time out to be a rude critic, we are all hear to have fun and to help one another, so why waste time to argue and put one another down. If My Lot don't have a probem with us making typos when we respond or start a disscussion, why should anyone else have a issue, I really hope this will not be a on going issue, with people making typos because is really useless. Hi Beth! As long as your communication is O.K. and you are able to make people understand what you are talking about, typos shouldn't be cared at all. As a matter of fact almost all of us do tend to make mistakes and this is how life goes on.

seems like beth u are having trouble like some of the rest of us. i don't know who appointed all these a$$holes to correct all of us. i know i'm tired of them.just hang in there, we can't let the loonies get the best of us.have a happpy day.

that's the only problem when you type fast, we tend to forget about the mis-typed errors that we made, i also type fast but i make it a point to review what i had just typed. cause i don't want people to think that i am poor in grammar haha .

Wow..it doesn't mean that we do have a wrong grammar or spelling out here were idiot in the real world..yeahh i totally agree with you..typing so fast the more you will get typo error and who cares? I don't think it's a big deal..they're just making an issue..

In an official matter is important even a comma but on the Net.... Is in the human nature to critic the others.But sometimes is in your benefit.

Some people are just obsessive-compulsive type or simply perfectionists. That's them and they just can't help it. The best thing to do, I-G-N-O-R-E them. But some spelling and grammar mistakes can create confusion so we really need to check our posts from time to time. For me, it should always be the message getting across that matters.

Hello BethTN81, I have wondered that myself about some that make it a point to do corrections either in spelling or grammar especially when we do these for fun and get critized by some know-it-all. I do avoid some subjects just because I know some people are so touchy with their beliefs. So I agree with you on this subject.

I am so thankful for Firefox!! It pretty much spell checks for me. It's great. But I'll also admit that when I'm using other browsers or even writing on paper, I miss that constant spell check. lol It would be nice if Mylot did spell check before posting. Or does it have a spell check option that I've just missed? People who are criticizing you because of your spelling just have nothing better to do. Don't worry about them. Happy Mylotting!

Hello, bethTN81! Well, that was true, there are people here in mylot who do some typographical errors in their responses. Maybe because they are rushing to type their response in order to submit it fast even they did not hit the right key sometimes so the word is not spelled properly. Instead, some letters are replaced by the letter beside on it in the keyboard or some letters are shuffled. I use my phone to post here and rarely enter typos because I check it first before typing. The firefox has a spell checker that can help others to detect the words that are not spelled properly. Happy mylotting and have a nice day!

I like to check my posts. For example I write in UK English and not in US English and I hate having a red underline in my box so I go back to the word and check it or replace it. I know it's silly but I simply don't like seeing that red line! As for typos, I don't mind them at all, they are normal and human, but I don't agree with people who just write posts without checking because some words can be misunderstood. On another note, does spelling count on my lot?

i also type fast and sometimes dont check my spelling even if firefox has those words underlined in red... lol i couldn't care less if those people will say something about my spelling and my grammar, it's their problem that they are perfectionist. dont you say sorry to those people, you did not offend them, they have offended themselves by trying to make everyone else perfect in their sight. geeze, those kind of people should get a life. ========= et certenly is anoyying thowse pepol if layk thet to meh. gash, et hurts to oders olso.

Lol , i am really happy you made this post . And i agree with you many people not only here but on other forum too think they know better English or grammar . They just like to poke their nose on people works . I really those kind and we all know how we can make mistake by fast typing speed or keyboard problem as mine . My keyboard seems to be missing few printed letters and because of which i often make mistakes . So please its really a request to all those people who think they better or something that we really need your advice on this .

That is crazy - I'm a writer but I'm the worst speller in the world and fact is I don't take the time to spell check every single response I make here. Ok I do when I post a discussion :( I have had a few times with friends here that we made fun of one another because of a typo or spelling error but we always know it's in fun - certainly not serious. Sounds like the ones your talking about need a life.

Yeah... spelling, typing and I have this love hate thing going. I love to type but the key board always seems to spell the words wrong. I think it hates me. If I can get the idea then I don't worry about what people misspell or don't word just right. If I can't get what they mean.... I move on to a different discussion. not sure why others have to nit pick.

Seriously, if you can understand what is being said why be so rude to someone about things that do not matter. There are way more important things in life than weather or not someone spells a word right. on another note, if it were not for firefox add on spell check you would find misspelled words in every one of my post
