Acupuncture - Acupuncture
No, but I really want to try it. I have a knee disease that makes the ligaments in my knees very thin and flexible. When the barometric pressure drops outside or in a cool place like the frozen foods section of the grocery store, the ligaments swell and it causes me great pain. The doc prescribed me pain pills, but I dislike having to take medication all the time. I'm thinking that perhaps and acupuncturist can relieve some pain. Does it work for you?

I was born in San Francisco, So here it's all about western Medicine. The Doctors give us a pill. The Acupuncture is helping me.easterm Medidcine is 5000 yrs old.And not just my pinched nerve but also just relaxing my mind (less stress). I just feel more relaxed when I live his office. I was concerned about the pain and the Doctor laughed and said" Why do guys with Tattoos always ask about the pain" You do not even feel the needles the Doctors uses. By the time you realize he stuck you. You also realize it was barely noticable......I recommend it. Good luck

I've been going to acupuncture for about 3 weeks and I've never felt better in my life! What convential medicine couldn't do for me in a year and a half acupuncture has gotten rid of 98% of my symptoms. I should be cured in about 3 months, unlike convential medicine where I would have to be on medicine the rest of my life. Acupuncture has helped me with stress, headaches, weakness, heart palpatations, weight loss, body aches and a lot more.

Yep, tried it to quit smoking. But I was pregnant, and he couldn't do the full blown way they do it. Guess something could trigger contractions, so didn't work for me. He also put these weird seed things taped inside my ears too lol. But I've heard a lot of positives about it for other things.

Maybe you could try it again, I assume you are no longer with child by your pic. That second hand smoke is bad for the little ones. My spouse has one smoke a day, outside when our Baby is napping...

Even if you do not have a ailment, you could go for the relaxing part of it. Some times The Doctor will place a needle ( there like pins really ) in my forehead and I fall asleep for what seems like minutes. But when I wake up it's been hours.

I have a few times but I have friends who go to Acupuncturist frequently. It seems that the Acupuncturist works well with channeling the body's energy for instance lack of sleeping or lack of energy. But not so well with physical problems. The type of person I know who had the most success was the one who went to both. I've seen people only go to the Acupuncturist and their ailments got worse. Ripped muscles broken bones and the like don't get fixed by Acupuncturist.
