Hello people!
How often do you exercise in your daily routine? Do you exercise alot as in, do you do it everyday and not miss a day? Or do you just exercise twice, three times a week or so? I used to walk around my block for 30 minutes right after getting off from my midnight shift, or run on my treadmill. Now I am quite lazier than before and hardly ever get any exercise. I usually stay home now so I just do jumping jacks and sit ups, sometimes push ups. How often do you exercise and what kind of exercises do you do? Lunges and squats are good for your bum... =)

I've gotten pretty lazy myself, but when I was working out the way I was supposed to I was working out almost 4 times a week. While I'm at home working out I'm actually using the workout program called P90X, they have a lot of great workouts that will get you awesome results. My brother and sister have been on it for almost 4 months and they are in great shape... but I just have been too lazy to do all of it, lol. But I'm gonna try to start running or biking and stuff again... that is also good for your legs and bum, lol

Hey,
Wow you seem like a pretty active guy especially when it comes to exercise. Yea I've also heard about p90x from my brother in law coz he said one of his friends from the military uses it and it gave him great results! If you're lazy to do it now, I guess running and biking is a great way for an alternative. As long as you're doing something to work out your body, and sweating, burning calories, it's all good = ) .

I usually get lazy in going to the gym and exercising. I am not a gym buff at all. I just go to the gym to run on the treadmill for 40 minutes three times a week. I just need some cardio exercise so that my heart can stay healthy and strong enough. When I am at home, I don't usually exercise, even doing sit-ups etc.

I exercise 4 times a week sometimes it depends on my body. I easily get tired so sometimes I don't have energy to exercise but I try to. I want to lose weight this month but sad to say I gain weight again. I can't exercise for 1 week because of my cough so it is weird that I have an appetite to eat. I found out that again I gain weigth last week I think it is because of the sweets that my sister bought back home when she went to Baguio.

Hhehe,
I'm not a gym person either! I'm the type of person that would rather run on the treadmill at home, or go for a run around the block. I don't think I'd be able to concentrate in a gym where a lot of good looking, fit people are walking by all the time ahha. But on the real though, I'm just too lazy to drive to the gym lol.

No. I don't. I should. I say as an excuse that part of the reason I don't exercise is because gyms are not designed to be wheelchair accessible and don't have wheelchair friendly equipment and I'm not the kind of person who likes to exercise alone. But I know I could do stuff by myself if I was really motivated to do it which I'm not. I'm more motivated to spend time on activism or art as opposed to exercise. I tell myself that if it ever becomes a serious health concern (which it's not at the moment) I will get better. But why I'm waiting I don't know.

Hi!
Aww I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully you won't be waiting soon = ). If you're in a wheelchair, maybe you can still exercise your arms? Good luck and I'm glad that even though you can't physically go to a gym and work out just like everybody else, you still have the motivation to do it. Cheers!

Nah, i quit doing exercise though temporarily. I want to gain weight so i'm eating my heart out. lol! I have a pretty goo metabolism and i can flatten a belly in 1 or 2 weeks. Fast huh? If i need to exercise, it should be at least 4 times a week. I have read somewhere that muscles need rest to be able to grow. I usually focus on one body part first like my abs(?)lol! I do some stretching too. Being in Muay Thai before, i guess i should maintain my flexibily though i still couldn't a split. lol!

LoL.. first of all congrats for reaching your payout again! ahha. Okay!! You are lucky to have good metabolism because not everyone has that. I think some of us are jealous of you now haha. How can you flatten your belly in 1 or 2 weeks? What's your special diet? I need your help, jk. My lil cuz wants to try muay thai too. Whatever that means, ahhaha and a split. Plsss who wants to see you do that lol.

Hello!
Aerobic sounds fun too! Especially when you're doing aerobics with a large group of people. It makes it more fun and enjoyable. That's too bad you don't do that anymore =( . As long as you still exercise at home, I think that's great. Keep that body moving.

I wish! I'm trying to exercise at least 3 times a week--it really helps me cope with stress. If you want to get back into things, you might want to try learning a new dance. Faster-paced choreography is a great cardio workout!

Hello!
Thanks for responding to my discussion hehe. 3 times a week of exercise ain't bad at all!... In fact, that's how much a person should exercise in a week at least. I also try to work out at times when I have the time when I'm stressed out from my daily activities. Dancing is a great way to break a sweat! I'm glad you've mentioned that actually haha. I have comcast and I'm glad they have dance lessons on on demand. If you have it, you should check it out =) .

no i have to admit that i dont exercise everyday. the only exercise i have every day is the 10-15 minute walk that i have before i take the metro train... and then i will be walking down or up a stair to get to the other side of the road and again, wait for a bus ride... :D
i have planned about sunday sports day too so i have started last week and will most probably enjoy quite a lot of it

I need to do more in the way of those lunges and squats! I would have to say that I at least do some form of physical activity every day. Usually, it is walking the dogs for a couple of miles. Sometimes I run with them (about three times a week). I do Pilates at home on occasion.
I just did indoor rock climbing for the first time in my life on Monday, and I loved it! I am considering taking a couple of beginners classes at a local rock climbing gym so I can climb without assistance, and then becoming a member of the gym. I am always looking for ways to workout that aren't boring. Just going to a regular gym and hitting the treadmill and weight machines gets really old, really fast for me.
If it isn't fun, I won't do it. The only way I keep running is by taking my dogs. I do it for them because I love them so much and want to give them the happiest life possible; I just happen to get a workout in as a bonus. :)

i cannot even say if i exercise everyday, Johannesburg has a bad transport system and in most cases people have to trek long distances, despite that many Johannesburg residents still look big, i will say that i unknowingly exercise my body through the long walks and i hope to start is fully very soon when i get my acts together

In my situation i did not do that for i need to walk to
go to terminal back and forth when I go and go home.
So I think its an exercise for me. Sometimes have an
appointment in the city I used to walk for it than to
ride a motorcycle or trisikad. I did not set time for physical
fitness so far my body is fine and ok. But I know exercise
is a must for longer life and good health ever.
