do you get offended when somebody here in mylot does not agree with you?

well, we can't pleased everybody. some of our posts will get negative comments from others here. some gave offensive words that can make you think of it til your bedtime. others also jot down really tactless and unaware that they have offended somebody. do i get offended? yes i do and very easily. my reason is that there are thousands of words for rephrasing and hundreds of ways of presenting words in a subtle way. how about you?

I have never had really negative comments onmy posts. I have had users who have had the complete opposite opinion to mine but they were not offensive and we discussed the topic quite sensibly 
I have seen onother discussions some instances of really heted arguments but Idon't see the point. It should be fun here and arguments are never fun 
I don't think we should all have the same opinion though. If I disagree with a topic or a point of view then I say so stating my own ideas and trying not to offend. It wouldn't be interesting if we all thought the same way surely? Though I do agree that there is no reason to be negative when pointing out an alternative way of thinking and I hope I never offended anyone when I did so.

i didn't experience it yet and i hope i won't. I've just came across some heated discussions and i don't find it entertaining anymore. they're pointing fingers already and exhausting words that hurt each other. others get them deleted in their friend's list.

I don't see the point of it either and especially not here
How can we bring our offline problems here (asssuming we have them) and take them out on others? It seems so pointless and can cause harm too if tempers then fly among friends

definitely true but people like that do really exist. we can't avoid them. they're spices in life, anyways.

Of course not.. If someone gives negative impressions with my comments, then i stand corrected.. It's a give and take relationship.. We learn from mistakes and through mistakes we are improving little by little as a child to a grown up person.. I am just a student but i know that learning is listening.. listen to people's opinions and you can make ideas that you never taught before.. i also think that joining mylot is fun to do because we interact with each other and exchange informations..

i don't know. maybe it depends on the situation or my moods. if i have some problems in mind that make me offended and here comes another one that wanted to trigger me then maybe that would magnify the situation. but i always welcome anybody's opinion. if i can't help from being offended i'd rather keep it for myself.
