I have 562 topics, and just 16 best response...are many are not to many?
I have 300 answers to other topics...so 16 / 300...is not to much, this mean that my answers are not apreciatte, is my guilt ?Or is just because i answer to all with intersting topics not just to my friends list?
I must change something in my answers? or maybe are to many peoples who answer and who start don t always give best response?

i just started tomorrow and after i posted 16 comments, i received my first best response.. with what you have 16/300 = 5.33% compared to mine is 1/16 = 6.25% so i think it's just a little difference.. i expect that when i reach that 562 posts, the percentage will be lower because most of us here want to earn money by posting.. so when you post more, the more the chance you earn higher than to those who post less.

hi! i would like to say that sometimes the discussion starter has a hard time awarding a best response that sometimes, the starter will not give a BR if he/she remains undecided who to give it to. and yes, there are many mylotters who haven't come around to giving best responses after starting a discussion. i'm one of the guilty ones coz i got several unresolved ones.
i don't think that you have to change your style and your answers just to fit to what the discussion starter is looking for. the best thing to do while responding to a topic is to really be interested in the topic. that way you can make a relevant and engaging post. also be yourself and have fun.
16 is great. others have fewer, others have none yet. :)
every now and then i get a BR. when i get one, i really appreciate it and i try to thank the discussion starter the moment i notice i have one. maybe i have 16 or 17 pages of BR from the last time i checked. i usually don't count by i think i looked into it when another discussion asked how many BR we had. that maybe was about 2-3 weeks ago.
i'm pretty selective of my posts, coz i only post a few times when i'm online. i'm actually enjoying more thru reading different discussions.
best responses are nice, but enjoying yourself in mylot is even better. so don't worry about the BR. it will come when it comes. just enjoy. :)

oh! so you people count the number of best responses you have got. i haven't counted that number ever , but on an average i get one best response every day , i think may be it would be something around 20 or so. i don't know the actually number of best responses that i have got since i haven't counted them.
for you to increase that number i think that you should write your comment from the deepest core of your heart only then can you increase that number.

Me, I only have 3 best responses. Pretty few huh! 3 best responses of of 190 something posts.. hehe. I think it's just that there are many users who don't give a best response to anyone who responded on their discussion.

The point about best responses is that they are chosen by other mylot members, of which there are over 170,000. You cannot hope to please all or even a small fraction of those people, because everyone is different, and everyone has different experiences of life and different viewpoints on a wide range of subjects.
What is important is that you make sure you give the best possible response every time. Take pride in what you write, be sincere in what you feel and you will be making mylot a better place for everyone. I have read a lot of your responses, and I have made you a best response in one of my discussions because yours was the best response, not because you were on my list of friends. I think it is so immoral to grant best responses only to friends. The best response is exactly what it says - the best response to a discussion, whether the responder is a friend or not.
You have nothing to feel guilty or bad about. Your responses show that you have engaged fully with the topic and thought about it before responding. That is the best possible response any of us can hope for. Carry on exactly as you are. I respect your opinions, as do many other members.

Oh i think you're already doing very well. I'm about three weeks here, with about 230 posting now and i've only two best responses, haha. I only have a few discussion started by myself, and actually don't receive my responses too. The most i get is 14, and others are just six to eight. I think actually sometimes it depends on some luck too. Maybe the topic is not seen by many people and it will not get many responses, or maybe the title is not attractive enough. Anyway, i'll just try my best to post quality comments and let the topic owner to choose his or her best responses. Good luck to you and happy mylotting :)

I guess so. I just start to do mylot, and of course I haven't recieved any best response. You are good enough to get 16 best. As for my topic, in fact, I think most of them have given good response, sometimes I can't decide whose is the best. And then I forget to mark the best response. Now you remind me that I should mark the best response to those who join in my discussion.
