You might take it in the negative sense... No. Don't.
This is just smoething lke a self awarness class. To lead a better life.
This is magical. I'll tell you...Just share here how much time you waste and your mind will start telling you to reduce it until you will have to reduce it!!!
So what are you waiting for. Think. Share. And don't waste time again!

Oooh...
That was touching!
I agree with the fact that you waste your time playing Counterstrike. I think you should waste your time more effectively.
Try:
War hammer
Shadow of Colossus
Starcraft
Warcraft
NFS Carbon....

None at all! Once I realised a long tme ago that our time runs out then I stopped wasting it. I don't do things that don't need doing immediately unless they give me pleasure in doing them.
To give you an example which I have used here before - I used to travel a certain road regularly where there was a level crossing and each time a train was due the crossing would be closed causing a delay of up to 20 minutes. Time wasted? It was until I stuck a bag with some knitting in my car and each time it happened after that I turned off the engine and got on with knitting!
Time is wasted if we do things which upset us. Arguing for example serves no purpose s I try and avoid them. There are other things which to me are a waste of my time which others enjoy doing. That's fine but I only do what I find is not a waste.
MyLotting is not wasting my time as I learn, make friends, help others and add some funds to my trip to USA at the same time

No way is my time wasted by helping others - unless they choose to do things their own way and not use the advice that was given to them.
That doesn't happen often because who ask are ussually those who want to learn
Are you a poet too?

Yes I am a poet. Not a 'professional-poet-freak'- Sitting beside the window with a pen stuck to my chin... no not that type at all.
But I do write some good poems. And I don't have any particular genre. Just write...
By the way are you a poet??

Cheerio Diana!
I'm glad to see you knitting while the train speeds by. I feel like writing a poem!
I waste some time of my life doing useless things.
And I waste sometime of others life asking for help....Especially on customizing my account!

I think we all spend lots of time wasting without doing anything important. I also spend lots of time wasting. I think there are lots of things we can do that we can enjoy as well as earn more. I think we can increase the quality of our life if we use our time we are wasting for something good.

Yes, Ajith, you are very much correct. And nice idea too.
We can increase the quality of our life when we make use of every moment we have. And yes, there are things that help us enjoy and earn: mylot is the best example.
My advise: try to minimize the time you waste!
Happy mylotting!

I wish I had the time to waste! My husband says my time online is a waste but the poor demented creature doesn't understand; he is not a MyLotter so he will never understand! I utilise every second of my time every day and I can't say I waste time at all unless you consider watching Bold and The Beautiful a waste; I am usually MyLotting as I watch though!

Well, I don't. And mylotting is not a waste of time. I support you.
And try referring your husband to mylot. And ask him to experience....
Seeing is believing....

Hi.
I am using only 3 out of every four hours per day. Actually I am at a place where I have nothing to do for most part of the day. Let me see whether I can make use of that time of mine in coming days.

Yes. Do it! Try to use four out of four.
Better today than tomorrow. If you had some improvement tell me the results.

Now that I'm out of school and getting ready to graduate, I'm finding that there's really not much to do except waste time. I usually try to go online and find some applications for employment, but somehow I always get sidetracked and end up here on MyLot. lol :) So much for keeping busy.

Everything depends upon your definition of WASTE. We are all meant to interact with others so that any people contact can not be a true waste. I am slowly learning not to be so driven so the longer rest times to relieve stress can not be a true waste. Because one has not attained their goals in life is not a waste because the learning is in the journey. I don't give up easily so that's not wasted. I can't seem to really find any waste. I can come up with an excuse for anything.

You are correct. Its the definition that matters. And I really admire your response. You have a good view of thinking.

My work is from 5am up to 12pm and mon, wed and fri, i go to the gym. Tues and fri, i go home after work, i either take care of my sister baby or i surf in the net. Im actually looking for a part time job or any thing that will earn money and something to do with my afternoon but recently, i decided to go back to school, take up care giver course so i can work abroad.

I waste about 4 hours a day on the computer when I could be out doing something but I need to do this just so I can obtain my goal on another site. The time wasted is necessary.

We just can't waste our time. One cannot justify times being wasted.Because even if we think,we are wasting sometime remaining lazy,we get back refreshed and do all the things in great speed. So,I don't think I am wasting any of my time.Just investing in other means and remain keeping in time.Cheers!

Me, I have waste around 4 hours a day just by watching television and doing noting. But now I'm more motivated to earn money here in the internet to help my family in their financial problem. We have been badly affected by the Global Financial Crisis. Hope this would help a lot.

Haha, this is a good one. Normally i feel that i'm wasting most of my time in a day in travelling to and back from work, and also the time to walk from my office to the production floor (i work in a manufacturing factory and there's a distance between my office seat with the production floor). Other than working hours, some of the time wasted are such as during waiting for friends and also me myself just sit there wondering without doing anything. I didn't really calculate how much time i wasted per day, but i know it's quite a number. I'll try my best to use my time to the fullest, however there maybe still will have some gaps between it which are sometimes unevitable.

Wow. That's a wonderful way to waste time.Walking. But it's a good exercise though. You can enroll for 'The Big Loser'- natural methods to lose weight!
Waiting for friends might not be a good idea.....I would ask you to advice them on keeping up the correct time.

You are right about the negative part. Lose that. Here is the deal. Choose one thing a day that you will FINISH. Then look at the rest of the time as something that could be allocated in a different way. You are not wasting...it was a choice and that is OK, but you have to live with it. Don't go the depression angle or you will collapse under the weight and continue to "waste". Actually most time spent wasting is mental breaks which we all need. Like here.
