do you think piracy over the internet be stop? i think no it will not stop because new ways are being invented to stop piracy but there is always a way to overcome that way of stoping it. if you have a method of totally stopping it rather than shutting the internet down then i would like to know.

Yes piracy can be stopped.
Ban the person whos distributing the movies, and fine them alot of $$$.
Some ISP are doing that, they are giving out warning if you download pirated movies, or games from the internet. But there are other ways around it such as utorrents data encryption, so the ISP doesn't know if your downloading pirated software or movies.

yes we can stop piracy in the internet . If all countries have all the law to prosecute illegal downloading of music and film. Government should have the ability of individual with internet connection so that they can monitor who is downloading illegal music and movies in the net.

Yeah, it isn't going to stop on the Internet because it has become so easy and quick to rip music and videos from dvds.
Now that memory sticks are getting cheaper, even if the internet stops, people will just pass those around if they aren't already.
