I guess my cellphone has the worst battery among other cellphones. After I fully charge it, it can only last a day and a half. Without using it to make calls. I just couldn't believe it. After 1 day, the battery bar just go down to half. I just need to find out why it consume so many battery charges. Does your battery has longevity life?

If your cellphone has UMTS network enable, you may checking your network setting whether it activate on UMTS or GSM only. You'd better set it to GSM only for longer battery lifetime. Sometimes some certain cellphone's setting require more supply of power eventhough you didn't use it. Also check the GPS feature whether it's on or off. Playing games also needs much power. Good luck and have a nice day. Happy mylotting.

My cellphone's battery would last up to 1 day and some hours too before getting drained again.. It shouldn't be that way. It should've been at least 2 days or so.. So I think my phone's battery doesn't have a longevity life.

My battery can use two days and a half, because I don't have too much calls, when I first charge it, I charge it about 12 hours, the sell guy told me that the first time you should charge it about 12 hours, this is good for the battery, and when I use for some time, every time I only charge it about half a hour, I know this is good for the battery.

i charge my phone every night just to make sure i have enough battery on my phone for the next day, and i noticed my cellphone battery can only last for 2 days. even i dont use it or shut it down before i go to bed, so i make sure i charge my phone at night. as i dont have charger on my car. and its very important you are not run out of battery on your phone.

It depends if I have made long distance phone calls then it only last a day. If I haven't made to many calls especially long distance then it could last up to two full days.

My cellphone Nokia 3310 lasts about three days if not used for calls... it usually takes one and a half days if I use it for calling but I charge my celfone overnight. I'm kind of used to it so I don't need to bother charging all the time.
One tip though, when you're charging make sure your battery has already exhausted its charge, coz if you do it with a bar or two left, the tendency is that the charging capacity will be lessen. If you normally have five bars and you charge it when there is still two bars left the charging capacity will remain at three... which is why the cellular phones who are overcharged don't last that long. I had a vocational course for this and my professor told us about it. From then on, I charge only when the battery is already exhausted...

my battery is still alright until now... it lasts for about 3 to 4 days if i didn't use it too often... even if i use it quite a lot, it can last for at least 2 days... i'm not really a big fan of mobile phone and i didn't use it often... i think the battery of your mobile phone is leaking and that's why it won't last long... may be it is time for you to replace it with a new battery... take care and have a nice day...

I think you are right that the battery of your cellphone is the worst. Usually a cellphone's battery would lasts up to 4 days without charging if you are using it for sending sms only. If you are like me who's using a cellphone for calls most of the time, then your cellphone can lasts up to a day or two only. Maybe the battery of your cellphone is old enough. If you are using that battery for more than two years then its about time to buy a new battery and change it.

My cell phone carrier is Verizon and a couple of months ago I purchased a Samsung glyde for $100.00. You would think that this phones battery would last long after being fully charged. I can only talk for about an hour or 2 and all of a sudden I'll check my battery icon to make sure I'm okay. With today's technology, you would think cellphone batteries would last longer and I believe they should.

Mine normally lasts about 3 days without making any calls. If making calls I can normaly go about 1and a half to two days, but if i am playing games or taking photos it's a little less than that.

The charger lasts longer other than the battery if used with the proper specifications that is indicated in it. Its not about quality product but how we use them properly.

Mine is Nokia and I think my battery lasts 4-5 days in standby and 3-4 days with few calls and sms. I don't make a lot phone call or receive a lot call everyday, so maybe that's reason why the battery last for few days and it also because it's just a few months old.

When you buy a new cell phone, make sure you have the right battery. Sellers sometimes replace the battery with the false one. The genuine battery usually lasts a lot longer.

Oh clorissa123, I have the same problem !Recently I find my mobile phone can not last a day ,sometime it only last few hours.I bought it 4 years ago ,so I think my battery is old enough that I must change it at once!I can not bear that my phone is out of charge and it can not work normally, because you will lose some important calls possibly.

I use my cell phones all the time. When I picked out my last one it was because of the battery life. My children like to keep up with me and worry if I let the battery run down so it was important to me to have a long battery life. I have three grown children and my cell phone rings on average 18 times a day with just my children calling (unless I am with one of them). I have to recharge that phone 2 or 3 times a week. My other cell phone is charged once a week s I do not use it as often.

its depend on your battery too.. If you use the original one from the factory ,maybe can stay longer. but the battery itself has some period to change. we can used it for ever, like some other thing. And maybe its must be replace for a new battery. It is usual for changing. The age of yours depend on its type. A lithium, Li-ion or polimer.
Li-ion : usually used for old cell phone type
Lithium : better performance in durability, most used in recent, Nokia,Samsung and other brands almost all.
Polimer : have light weight and thin but must more careful to charge. Usually for Sony Ericsson type.
All Type must have age to replace, so do not worry to change it for a new one, if suppose to and do not forget to pick the original. More expensice for better quality.
