Hi there, meet me again!
With this information technology era, internet is very helping us to do almost anything we like, including shopping, Shopping is fun, especially for women
but shopping offline is also fun either, because we can see the goods directly and buy and bring it right away, besides with online shopping we can buy any products arround the world, that doesn't available at our places, and we do not need to go out from our house to shop while we have been busy with our daily.
So which one do you preffer to shop?

I think I like a mixture of both off-line and on-line shopping. When looking for computer stuff or photography stuff, I like to look around the shops and then come home and see if I can get a better deal on line. If not, then I will go back to the shop and buy it there. I also love to buy from e-bay.. - Derek

I do love shopping too. But sometimes i do prefer offline shopping if i have much time to roam around the mall so i can really choice what i like and i can see them in person, coz sometimes if i do online shopping, it looks nice online but when i recieved the goods it seems i don't like it and it never fits on me coz here sometimes size 6 looks like it size 8 to me and it's better you fit it personally before you buy it.
Happy posting.

I prefer to shop offline. I don't like waiting for the arrival of goods thing, I effortly go to shopping malls to check on new arrivals and fit it and If i want it I buy it instantly. And there are so many products to choose. I like seeing things in personal as in internet there are so many effects that enhances the picture of the products. It is still cheating for me so I prefer offline.

I do like shopping online for most things. Mostly because you can find it online cheaper than you can int he store. I do not grocery shop online, although I have heard that it is getting pretty popular as well. You can find just about anything on ebay anymore so I really like online shopping.

i havent tried shopping online although i have heard a lot of people say that its really good to do it.
i still prefer shopping to the malls, because i want to see the products personally, touch it, look all over it. and if its clothes i want to fit it first before buying it, to see if it would look good on me or not.
for electronic items, i would still prefer buying it offline because of the warranty, if something happens i can return it right away to the shop and have it fixed or replaced.

yaa shopping clothes at mall are more satisfying, but sometimes, there are stores that didn't allow customers to fit first before buy or even cannot be return or replaced, how about your opinion?

i have not yet experienced something like that, at the mall. even at 'tiangges' (fairs) they allow you to try fit the clothes... but if ever i come across those kind of stores, it would be a sure thing that im not gonna buy anything there, the same also with the stores that will not accept returns or replacement if the products they are selling are defective. but most of the shops i've been through i was able to return the clothes if i see something wrong in it whem im home, most of what they do is replace it with exactly the same size, color. but if there is no more available, then you choose what you want to replace it with.

Hi Maximillian, I prefer to shop online as I don't like crowds and the lighting in some of the stores make me feel ill, I do go clothes shopping with my eldest daughter as she knows me so well she will recognise when I am going to have a panic attack and lead me out of a shop to get me fresh air before I do. I manage the weekly food shop in store on my own but nearer holiday periods like Christmas I even buy that online and have delivered as the shops get too busy for me to feel comfortable. Huggles. I prefer online shopping by far...most of the time. I do believe that sometimes offline shopping is needed as you just need to see some things in person before you buy them. I am not a fan of shopping in person if I can help it. Online shopping is the way for me!

Give me shopping any old way! I enjoy both but I prefer offline because not only you can touch, feel and try things on but you get to take them home straight away instead of having to wait for things to arrive in the post although if I have money to spend I can have a ball online too!

I shop online every chance I get. I don't like shopping in real stores, even though I am a woman. I prefer the ease of doing it from online. There are some things that I simply won't buy online like plants and stuff like that but everything else, I will do it online.

I think offline shopping is better than online shopping because you can touch and feel the product you want to buy. You can also check its quality. If it is gadget or some electronic goods then you can check by operating it. Again as soon as we buy we get the product. But in online shopping we have to wait for some days for the product to arrive. Again you have to pay additional charges for shipping. I think online shopping is only preferable when you are buying some thing which is not locally available. Otherwise it does not add value.

So you both love to shop offline? yaa and i also know that feeling "in person" we can real touch and see, but about the quality of the products, it is true that sometimes when buying online we didn't know how suit or how good the quality is, and we still have to wait for several day, until the goods is arrived, but shopping online is fun also

I gotta go with offline...the same reasons that you gave. Also, for clothes and shoes you gotta try them on sometimes...you want to see them "in person". It's more fun...you can stop for breakfast or lunch. I love book stores and just like to browse thru the pages. Sometimes you run into someone you know.. it's the best!!

I do both. I prefer to shop for books and DVDs online as you can get much better prices. If I'm buying expensive electrical products, I like to read reviews online and also search price comparison websites for the best price online or instore. I never buy clothes or food online though, as I like to see what I'm getting for my money. Online shopping is also good for giving you ideas for presents, without having to trail for hours around the shops.

yup, online shopping could be the best solution to buy some person a gift, without taking hours looking for perfect gift, anyway i just know that we can buy food online also? is is still fresh when arrived?

Apparently, what happens is store staff select the goods for online food orders just before delivery, so they are fresh. I just prepare to select my own food, which is why I never buy groceries online.

Online shopping is the best invention ever
Really the only shopping I enjoy doing is buying DVDs, music, Books, etc.
And I have a Sony EBook reader so I am also a big fan of EBooks.
My memories of offline shopping are all horrible
Being dragged round shops by my wife...
Horrible rain
Crowds! Don't forget the crowds.
Now for a couple of quid more I can get practically anything I want delivered as early as the next day.
What's not to love? :)

Thank you for posting this discussion because it gives us shopaholics a chance to voice out what we want . For me I would preffer to shop online for you will have lots of choices rather than going to the malls wherein you will have limited choices. just be carefull for those fake sellers.

i prefer offline shopping compare to online as i like to see the merchandise and touch it first before i am willing to spend my money on it... i don't like the idea of spending my money for something that i haven't see first as i don't know the condition of the product... i only do online shopping for my airline ticket and hotel reservations... that's all... take care and have a nice day...

I would prefer to do an offline shopping because it is much exciting to shop offline plus the fact that you can be able to try the items and see it as it is. Plus you can be able to exercise your feet through walking and taking a look at the items in different stores.

so it is exercises for feet while shopping but i'm wondering that too much of shopping could make our feet become bigger also?

I prefer offline shopping, as the online shopping seems to be little unsafe to me. I am still not very convinced with the idea of online shopping. There is a very high chance of fraud on line, so I take the route of offline or street shopping. Whichever kind of shopping you do one thing is for sure that the wallet has to suffer any how. LoL !!
Happy Shopping!!!

safety reason is one of the reason why some people don't like shopping online, but it could be minimized when the sites open several testimonial about their shipped items from their real customers, not their own (fake) customers ... but once again, we need to be carefull wallet is secondly thought i think, the first major thought is bank account lol!
Have a nice shopping

I'd like to buy things in shop, so I can touch them and try them, and buy directory, and I like shopping, just as you say, women love shopping, shopping is really fun, but sometimes online shopping will be much cheaper than we buy it from a shop, so if I want to buy books, or other tools, I will buy it from internet, this is much cheaper and easier.

I like to shop online for clothes, gifts, and things like that. I don't like to deal with crowds and shopping online also allows me to shop at my convenience so that I don't have to worry about store hours.
Now, grocery shopping is different because I love to use coupons. So, I like to grocery shop at the actual grocery stores and shop around to get the best deals.

Hi..i personally have developed a liking to online shopping.. recently i have indulged myself on shopping.. I like the fact that i dont have to leave my home to shop. the only don part is i cant examine the product and if for example it doesnt suit me i wont be able to tell not unless it already has been shipped. Good thing is people i buy from are kind enough to have it returned and exchanged... So yes i think this answers you question.. yes i do like online shopping. Thanks
