In the sentence "In this case, Jim and Tommy Fazio designed a dream come true for any golfer, not only visually, but in terms of playability.",I think there is a grammatical error because "come true" should be "coming true", do you think so?

I think it's best to say "coming true" because they've just designed it and it's not yet been tested... "come true" will be appropriate if the person speaking that sentence is a golfer who tested it then the sentence will be satisfied..

that's actually the way they do say it. it sounds weird, but "come true" is correct.

Actually, there is no grammatical error there... calling something "a dream come true" is a commonly accepted expression and it is being used in the proper way in the sentence you provided :)

Since I do not know how this sentence is in full context, I have to say it seem correct to me. "Designed a dream come true" sounds more accurate than "Designed a dream coming true." The latter does not sound correct in the context of this sentence.
