i usually find myself burying my face in a book or playing with my kids and telling them stories when there is no electricity.

oh i can't allow hours of no electricity. all my works depend on that. but if really can't avoided, then i'll pray for the immediate return of lights and computers.

Hahaha.. talk about faith.. sometimes it works for me.. but i end up frustrated sometimes when it takes too long for the power to turn on..

I will not say that I can not live without electricity, but I really do not know what will do. If in the day, I will go out to do some sport, and at night, the only thing is sleeping.

I can survive without electricity for a while without sucumbing to boredom. :) I like to read if I have enough light. I will talk to my family or walk the dog. If it's too dark to do anything else, a black out is always a good time to have fun with your love too...or sleep I guess. lol

I would read a book or listen to music. Or I have a cell phone so id call my other friends to see if they had power or not.

If the electricity shuts down in the morning, I'd probably read a book or talk to the people who are there with me about anything. But if it's in the evening, I'd probably just sleep while fanning myself with something.

If the mall is still open, I will go there. Mall has generator so basically I can watch a movie. If it is not open. I will also chat with my hubby until the electricity is back. If it is late night already, I just sleep it off and hope that will have the electricity the next day.

This is weird this just happened to me on my trip to PR. There was a bad storm and the electricity went out. It was daytime so we just took a ride to my in-laws. Stayed there for the afternoon and when we got back home the lights were back on. If it wasn't I guess we would have lit some candles and had some fun! LOL LOL LOL
