do you ever think of writing a poem?

That is such a beautiful poem! I love the way you used her name. I could probably write my fiance a poem...it wouldn't be too hard for me, I don't think, but I don't want to. I mean, sometimes I want to, but I really don't. I think words are very powerful and can express a lot of things, but I'd rather my feelings go unexpressed. For some reason I feel that binding my feelings to words makes them seem diminished, so I do things that show him and it's in the way that I look at him and treat him and when he gives me *that* look back, the one that shows he understands, then I feel good. :) I think that's more powerful than any words I would ever be able to write because I fear that I don't write as well as it would take to get my point across.

I also wrote a poem to my crush when I was in high school. Our teacher asked everyone of us to write a poem for their loved ones. It so happened that I am madly attracted to him but I can't tell it because he was my best friend. In order to release my feelings, I made a poem especially for him. He was able to read it because our classmates teased me and gave a copy to him.
