In order to keep cool summer fun and ice-creams go hand by hand. Buy yourself a cup or a cone from any of the ice cream parlours dotted all across the city. Or else find the nearest walls swirl outlet for a quick sundae..

My summer uniform is cotton skirts and blouses. Comfortable, looks good, and keeps me cool. I love fruit year round, but it's even better in the summer. When I played summer sports we used spray bottles to mist each other to help cool off. To keep from using the Air Conditioning too much, I open the upstairs windows once it cools down in the evenings and close them before it warms up too much in the morning. Doing this, I only use AC during the hottest parts of the afternoon. And for an extra cold-crisp salad, I'll put the lettuce or spinach in the freezer for a few minutes before I eat it.

Hi.
I drink a lot of fluids. I drink a lot of water as well.
My mom always gives me a lot of fruits like watermelon and "Gund-ka-teera". She says these things are inherently cool and hence will help in keeping the body temperature under control.

to keep cool i drink lots of water keep bottles in the fridge eat salads which keep me cool as there cool and to me make more sense then eating a hot meal. I normally eat some icecream in the evenings. But here the summer hasnt come properly yet so there is still time to get ready for it.

I take showers at least 3 times a day in summer, and I will reduce to go out at noon, as I can't drink too many cold drinks, so I only drink water to cool down the heat.

There is one thing that my mom taught me. It is my favorite thing to do on hot summer days.
Find a nice shady place. Get a bucket full of cold water and a good book. Put your feet in the water and enjoy your book! The cool water helps to pull the heat out of your body through your feet. It really makes a huge difference! Since swimming pools arent always available, this is a great alternative!

Well I just turn up my air conditioner during the summer since theres not much else to do. And my room gets pretty hot during the summer because its right below the atic and right above the garage. So during the summer it gets really hot and during the winter gets really cold.

I always keep a melon sliced in the fridge. It's more refreshing than drinks, although you need to drink plenty when it's hot to keep hydrated. Run your wrists under cold water - that cools the whole body. And keep a small spray bottle full of cold water in the fridge. Spritz your face and neck when you feel really hot. I find swimming keeps me cool as well. We have a communal pool a few yards from our hoem, and when it's very hot, I swim several times a day.
