I have been doing a lot of surfing online today and I noticed that people think there is no way to make money online. I am curious why they feel this way. I know there are a lot of scams out there but to me it did not take me long to find ways to make money online. I do not scam anyone to make money either.
So why do you think some people feel you can never make money online? let me know thanks.

I believe that most people have most likely been scammed, have heard of someone else that has been scammed or they personally think it's hard work trying to make money online. There are a lot of things to factor in. They probably don't have the time to spend to see what earns them money and what doesn't. Take for example this site, I have only been on here for a few days but find it both enjoyable, educational and addicting. Did I mention that we are making a chunk of change as well. Although, not every site makes it easy and we have to work hard to make a couple of extra bucks on the side without being scammed. It does however take some researching to find what works and what doesn't but when the person does that is another income source for them.

Hi there harry123 you are so right. This is a great site here that can give you a little extra no doubt. I wish I had found mylot sooner. I have been here about 6 months and I got addicted as well. What I like is that I have learned a lot and I pay nothing! Plus I am earning at the same time, what a concept. Take care and thank you for taking the time to respond to my discussion.

They are not too familar with the web and don't want to spend a lot of time learning what it take to make money on-line.I see lots of discussions about people not making money on-line,i myself has made some cash and i knew nothing about the web when i 1st started. Its just that if you want to succeed you will find a way to, some are just to skeptical or lazy to learn to earn on the internet,i feel that some of them want somebody to show them the way to instant on-line cash made e-z that the impression i get from some of the members right here on this forum, and one more thing, getting referrals that a big crock some want you to sign up under them, but, don't want to sign-up under you that's another reason why some don't make money because of selfishness i find that a lot on the internet.

You know what you have said here does make sense to me as well. I understand people do not want to take the time or they get to busy to do it as well. I want to help people learn and I have thought about offering a class at my local library to teach others to do it like I do. Someday I will. Take care and thanks for taking the time to respond to my discussion happy mylotting to you as well.

This is just a guessing, because they are not aware of some of the legitimate site over the net and I think they are looking for quickest money opportunity, actually there is none when it comes to quickest and fastest earning, those are scams. All online opportunity requires hardwork, they must ready for that. If they don't know these factors, they will totally give up.

I see that some people do want to do the research on earning and I feel that is one of the issues as well. I have been trying to spread the word about sites I know that pay that way others can earn as well as myself. It is the right thing to do to share what you have learned so they can have as well. I have tried to create blogs as well as articles and I am trying to get the word out about these sites. Take care and thanks for taking the time to respond to my discussion as well.

I think what it is with a lot of people is that they believe too much in the phrase "If it's too good to be true, it usually is." Of course, that applies well to a lot of things online as it does offline, but fortunately not everything. At least looking back, I think that's how it was for me when I first started looking into making money online. I found out about this site that pays you to blog about things and even though I really hoped it was for real when I first joined, I couldn't get the nagging feeling out of the back of my mind that it was a scam. Fortunately I gave it a chance and it turned out not to be.
I guess why a lot of people don't think money can be made online is that they just assume everything that claims you can make money online is nothing but a scam basically.

I think that it's possible to make money online but you must be careful doing that. First of all there are a lot of scams and secondly if it were so easy everybody was doing that. You need to make a lot of research before joining some programms where you can earn money otherwise you will only lose money or your valuable time.
Trying to become richest person on the planet sitting at your computer isn't as easy as it looks

Thanks for taking the time to respond to my discussion and happy mylotting to you as well.

Ya, in fact i think i'm one of the people who also think that we can't make money online. As we all know there're really a lot of scam out there who claim that it's easy to do it, they can make thousands of dollars in a few days, and giving lots of assurance that it's true. However most of them come out to be just scams in the end and many got cheated their money. I believe i'm one of those being cheated. I'm really afraid of getting into those things again now. Although you may say there're really people who already get paid and earn a lot doing online jobs, but i think they're just the minorities. If everyone can make money online so easily, then i suppose there'll be surely a lot of rich people in this world then. Don't you think so? Anyway, these are just my opinion. No offense. :)

this is so called pyramid system, you have not been cheated actually. Online jobs no doubt can earn money, but it must depend on the background, system, strategy, foundamental and also personal perspective.
Everyone must put their effort as we know income = talent x time
This is also just my opinion:)

i think some people are just impatient and they don't have the determination to earn money online... earning money online needs a lot of patience and some people just give it up halfway and say that they can't earn anything online... i had done online earning for almost 3 years now and i had earn quite a lot from it... so i believe that not all online sites are scam... take care and have a nice day...

I think people think that since of all the online scams that if they try and make money online they will get scammed and loose money or waste time on websites. I have made money online and I know that it's possible to make money online but people are to plain lazy.

To answer your discussion in a few words, I would say you are Absolutely Right. For my own view on this, I have always told myself that there is definitely no free lunch in the world and definitely no easy money. If you want something, you have to work hard for it. And that is especially true in terms of money and achieving other things in life. No pain, no gain or some sort. And sometimes, people don't see that their pot of luck is exactly right in front of their eyes.
They are already on sites that can make them some money but they are not doing anything about it and complaining that the sites do not pay yet or stuff like that. From my online journey quest, I find sites that do pay and some that just don't. I am not really into the money making online type of person, but if I can kill 2 birds with 1 stone, why not. And since I'm at work most of the time, I shall make full use of my skiving time as long as I can catch up with work and my boss is satisfied with my work performance.
Coming back to making money online, basically in my online journey I have found that there is no one better site. What works is where your interest lies. If you like blogging, then stick with it and make sure you see some efforts there by working hard. If it doesn't work for you, look for other opportunities. There are just loads. Or maybe your method is wrong. If you love sites that pay for writing articles, make a good job out of it. Don't just spend 1 month and complain the site doesn't pay and etc. The key is consistency and take baby steps to make your dreams come true. It may be just for some money, but then, even when we started working outside, our wage start out low. And we work ourselves from there to get increments and stuff like that. It is the same online, just that there is no 'boss' to monitor you. I hope I don't sprout nonsense. Just to highlight that there is such a thing as making money online. You just have to do it. And being consistent and focused. Have a nice day. Good discussion here.

I remember during my early days at the internet even my children were reminding me not to believe at the people in the internet. They even laughed at me why am serious in getting along well with online friends. In the sites they are in, they only get along with their personal friends, very seldom they do entertain with foreigners. I don't understand why their so negative when it comes to online friends. When I earned my first online income of 100 dollars, however, they were so amazed and started believing with people at the internet. So, some people think they cannot make money online as they don't trust people at the internet. What they have in mind these paying sites are all scams. They have to prove something first, before believing. If they won't trust anyone for sure the won't earn.

I would say that when people see the "work at home" or the "make money working online" they automatically think..."get rich schemes".. so therefore they believe there is no way to work online and from home to make money....
I am a full time mom, just started to look online this year to see what I could do to make extra money....not to get rich, but just to help out and have a little extra at the end of the week per say.... and I have been working at it for 4 months now...almost 5 months and I can say I have done about 90.00... I am averaging 30.00 a month... in my spare time, some days are better than others of course...but hey, $30.00 (to start out) isnt to bad, that puts gas in my car or helps buy diapers/groceries, I can treat out to eat.... and all while I have been home with my kids... I love that!!
Happy mylotting!!

I'm not sure, pessimist always fail to see what they need coz they've stopped looking or are afraid to try something new. Every business venture involves risk, you have to take chances to gain something. Those who give up easily usually fail coz they always believe it won't work. Some don't have enough patience they believe they can earn without doing much, in short they're lazy. Creativity also plays a big role in earning online. You need to be innovative and offer services that are not yet available.
I'd been scammed many times but it's not a hindrance, I'm careful in making investments and its good I haven't lost much from those just mere effort... But my search finally paid off and now I'm really earning and I'm happy with it. Its not much but more time and effort soon I will succeed.
I guess it depends much more on the attitude of the person. If you quit soon enough you'll lose alot of opportunity. If that's what they believe that's exactly what they'll get. Our mind is works like a magnet it attracts whatever we think often.

True you must take a risk when earning and working online too. I feel you are right that takes time and some people are not willing to take that risk either. But back to what I said earlier sometimes you must spend money to make money and some people do not like that concept. If we never try we will never known. Take care and happy mylotting to you as well.

I think a majority of people feel it should be easy to make money online when it really isn't... I think they don't reach their goals, get tired, and just quit but it is possible with a little dedication and time. I make decent money but I earned my spot...

Well, many of my friends say so as well. To be frank, its not easy making easy money on the net. There's frustation. If you make a 20-30 posts and ur balance increases by 10 cents, it'd be frustating indeed. Plus many people have trouble thinking of things to say on sites like mylot, morachat etc. Some people also have an inherent negative attitude towards new things in life, so they woon't try new things and conclusively say they don't work

Simply, It is hard to find legit ways that fits the likes of a particular person, I know I am most picky and thus can't find anything that makes me too terribly much money but nonetheless I do try ways to make money!

There is no free or easy money in this world and people who say that there is no way we can make money online, then they meant that there is no free or easy money on net.
Even if we are facing scam sites every day but still there are some legit site which will pay us but they are slow(which is understandable). Like, donkeymails or neobux. I have had refs in both sites but they liked Properbux more than these sites becuae it provided more money to be earned.
For me I am not very happy with my Earnings online but at least I am enjoying earning. I would love to add few dollars every month though.

Hi,
Well from my experience and what I believe on topice is this, alot of people in my circle and community have this believe that in order to make money and take care of your bills and family, you have to work a 9-5. Or a job you definietly don't like and dread getting up in the morning. Making money online to them is like you are wasting your time and your are be lazing doing this or a living. Just because they don't see how you are making money. Its like making money on line is like a sale out agenda because you are not working a 9-5 job. They also feel like I am going to be scammed or caught up in identity theft because I work on line, run a business own line and spend alot of time on line. Some people I know are wiery about the internet and feel by being on it you are setting yourself up to be in harms way. Others feels like they are not internet savvy and don't like to be on the internet or even spend time on or putting a little time on the computer.
Alot of people don't know about money making oportunities on the internet, so they miss out. Others are aware and try to but in effort in a site or blog but don't know how to promote it to gain the traffic. Most peoples down fall is the lack of information. And yes I agree some people want to have everything handed down to them and will not take the time to follow through or experience an opportunity for themselves. I don't talk to the people in my circle, well most of them because they feel everything is impossible that is not apart of the norm. I mean running a business to some people, is impossible because you need to have capital and no one is going to give you money. They also tell me I need to go to school for me to run a business. And all of this is not completely true. I don't need to go to school in order to run a business, I don't need to borrow money or have capital to startup and run a business.
Take care and wishing you the best
